Sharp & Safe!!!

I have a Yorkie and a Maltipoo, both of which need trimmed around their faces, paws, and private areas between groomings. I'm not a professional groomer, just a puppy mommy (I leave professional grooming to my daughter!), but I do like to keep those areas trimmed short for health/cleanliness reasons, so I've ordered several pet grooming scissors, but haven't been happy with them for various reasons. That was until I bought this set, and after using it several times, I'm extremely happy with it and here is why: - they're very sharp, so no tugging/pulling of fur - you get both a straight edge and a serrated edge pair (both of which I use depending on area I'm trimming) - both pairs have a finger guide, which is priceless when you're trying to trim a dog that really isn't in the mood for a trimming - they have rounded tips (yes...they snip the fur all the way to the end of the rounded tips), which is beyond priceless when you have dogs that fidgets and can get poked with the normal pointed edge scissors. Sharp and stay sharp

I love these. This is my second pair, only because I've lost the smaller one of the first pair. It's the only scissors I've found sharp enough to trim my Yorkie's coat, and they stay sharp. I love the blunt end, so I can use it on her face and ears without poking her.

Easy to use

Bought these to trim the back end of my 10-year-old, DLH, female cat with IBS. She's sweet but doesn't like being trimmed so I wanted something safe. There are 2 scissors. The short pair has a serrated edge that cut through her mess and a matted area that had formed. They're easy for me to handle while I'm holding on to her. Finger holes were the right size for me. Of course, I have to work fast with a cat so my hands couldn't get tired holding them. I really appreciated the rounded tips that prevent any kind of injury. I have a 4 mo. old puppy and the hairs around her eyes is growing into and aggravating her eyes. I got on line looking for rounded tipped scissor. These had great reviews and I liked the look. Tried them out today and I am very pleased with their performance. I am left handed and found no issue using them. I'm sure I could, would give them even 5+ review if I could just get Chloe to sit still long enough to groom her >:( What a wiggle wart.

Better than expected!

I was skeptical grooming scissors could be as good as the reviews claimed, but after paying more (at pet stores) for scissors of lessor quality, I decided to try them. I have to say I am quite impressed. The picture doesn't do them justice. The green handles are a soft comfortable material, not the hard, cheap plastic they appeared to be in the photos. I was also concerned the holes would be too small for my fingers, but that wasn't the case either; they feel perfect. The scissors are made of quality material as well; nicely designed and manufactured, with extremely sharp edges. They look like they will last many years, but if I ever need another pair for grooming my little dog, I'll come back to this seller.

I have a very old, nervous yorkie who has some chronic pain and no longer can go to a groomer. These scissors are excellent. They are sharp, but have safety ends. They are small enough to clip around eyes and ears without snipping skin. Two scissors are in the package--one is designed for the face. The scissors are just right for trimming all the little places on the dog which need to be trimmed as well as the longer hair. I was able to trim her hair without upsetting her. I was amazed at the high quality of the scissors for the price. I highly recommend these---it has made a positive difference in my caring for the dog.

Glad I Finally Tried These!

I received this set just as the sticky tree pods began falling that adhere to my Wheatens pads and especially the hair between...perfect timing! These scissors allow me to confidently and safely trim all that out I also use them for inside ear and around the fall area and eyes of her doo. I have average hands and they fit well and me being left handed is no problem...they are very sharp too. These are much used backup to my expensive shears in certain places that I feel less skilled and confident to trim. Max approves, makes Momma happy

These are perfect! Max agrees (begrudgingly). Max is a 12 yr old shihtzu I adopted when he was 4. Little is known of his history, but he came to us emaciated, one blind eye, hated men, and being handled. I share that to express how terrified he was of clippers, scissors, even a brush. I slowly adapted him to each, but even now, he only allows me to do the back 2/3 of his body with a clippers. So the rest has to be done with scissors, which he will allow. I got my scissors roughly a month ago and have used them several times now.
