Great toy- all 3 of my kids love it

Bought this because it was a really great deal on cyber Monday and I loved these little figures and sets when I was little. I wasn’t sure if my 2 year old daughter was ready for it yet and was going to hold onto it until her 3rd birthday but we ended up giving it to her for Christmas. She loves it! And surprisingly my 7 year old son and 4 year old son also like it and they all play nicely together. Just a note: I did not let her have all the tiny accessory pieces that come with this set (plates, food, etc) I put them in a box to save for when she’s a bit older if she is still playing with this in a couple years.

So adorable! I bought this for my son because it was on his Christmas list, he is 5 btw. The only downside is it only comes with two critters which is a mom and a daughter. I will have to buy him another family pack with a dad and son. Overall very cute and I like that it comes with the van too. I felt out of all the other sets, this was the more bang for my bucks.

Really cute

Another home run for the Calico Critters. This little lodge is awesome. My kids love it and it was the perfect little addition to the small town I pretty much bought them for Christmas. As I've said in my other reviews of this product it's handy to have a tube of super glue while assembling the pieces. Some of the connections are loose and this way pieces won't be lost during play. I'm very happy with the Calico products and would highly recommend them. They are super cute.

One of the best toys on the market!!!

What's not to love about anything Calico Critters? Seriously? The detail is impeccable! They're so fun to play with!! I think that I love calico critters more than my children do. I'm okay with that.

LOVE these little critters!

The Calico Critters, or AKA Sylvanian Families, have been in our home for a long time. I kept some of them from 1988, which I bought for my daughter when she was 5. She is now 36 and her daughter also loved playing with them when I pulled them out of the garage. I was so happy to discover they are still being made! We have several families of them and i recently bought the Lakeside Lodge. I have 2 granddaughters now and both of them love to play with Calico Critters, dress and undress them, make-believe stories about them, etc. Definitely one of my favorite kid toys!

Fun set for many hours of play.

This is the second set of Calico Critters we gave to our granddaughter and she loves it. It was a gift for her birthday and since it includes a party set, it was perfect. It even comes with 2 critters and we also bought a panda family as well. She is now asking for more for Christmas !

This is a great combo set

This is a great combo set! All of the Calico Critters items are great and quality pieces, and my daughter loves her new cabin! Comes with everything to start playing right away, and we used a few pieces from our townhouse furniture to round it out! My only complaint was the packaging - this was shipped to our house in the original box, not an unmarked Amazon box. This was purchased off of a gift list for my daughter's 4th birthday and obviously she got it early thanks to the fact that it was very obviously displayed on our porch when we got home.

Classic!

We bought this for an almost 2 year old. The pieces are sturdy and easy to handle. (remove tiny pieces i.e food if child puts things in mouth) Sturdy, and great or male or female. She loved it. On a side note my 28 year old daughter still has hers from childhood and it was passed to her from an older cousin!!

My kids love this!

My almost 6 year old son jumped up and down in joy when he unwrapped this box for Christmas. He and his eleven year old sister have played with it and their other Calico Critter items for a week straight - hours at a time!

My autistic daughter loves it!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my autistic child. I was looking to kill two birds with one stone since she needed to improve her fine motor skills at the time and she loves bunnies, too. It has really helped her with her therapy and she does not get tired of playing with it. We bought more Calico Critters products to make it more entertaining for her and she loved every single addition she got so far. This was the perfect starting gift set for us. We'll definitely keep adding more as her interest in this toy has not diminished in the almost 11 months since she's got it.
