I purchased this for my 5 month old, who is starting on his first solids. So far I've only mashed banana and steamed sweet potato in this bowl, but it's quick and easy, and the masher makes sure there are no larger chunks, it's an even consistency. I have a NutriBullet that I am going to use for his stage 2 foods (protein and veggie purees, multiple fruit purees), but this bowl and masher is fantastic for a nice simple snack still!

Works well for soft and mushy fruits and veggies. I've tried it with banana, avocado, and cooked apples and they turned out great. Didn't work so great for cooked carrots, peas, and green beans - maybe if your baby can eat chunkier consistency then it will work with those veggies. Overall I like it, and I also like that it came with a lid and a spoon.

Works great to mash up food for a baby that can eat food with a little more consistency than a puree. It's good for mashing up a single serving meal. I use it to feed my baby fresh food, like bananas and strawberries. I still use the blender to make the larger batches of baby food that I freeze, though.

This is the best mash-feeder I've tried! We use it almost daily for fruits and soft-boiled veggies for our 8 month old. The handle on the smasher is comfortable, and the handle on the bowl provides much needed support. The bowl has a silicone grip on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around while you're using it. The included spoon is angled perfectly for little mouths and the lid is a handy addition if you want to take the food to go.

The bowl has the striations on one side that helps you smooth out lumps and bumps of your baby food. It comes with a masher which is great for mashing those sweet potatoes and peas. The best thing is the spoon though. It has a nice bend and roundness that smoothly glides out of your baby's mouth without cutting his gums.

Our first food bowl. It is neat and useful. I use it to puree fruits and veggies after boiling them (except for banana). Baby has responded fine. Also tried rice. It works if you cook the rice well. Dont use a scrub while washing, it gets scratched. Prolly goes without saying but we did it by mistake

We received the white and teal colored. I was pleasantly surprised to get that color since it said “orange” when we ordered but I prefer the white. I don’t use the spoon as we prefer the soft silicone spoons that we have, but this is good for mashing up avocados or sweet potatoes or bananas. It does help to add a little liquid.

This set is so handy to have and I am so happy I purchased it! The set I received is yellow and green, and the first time I used it was to mash up an avocado, which it did almost effortlessly, much much quicker than using a fork. The lid seals super tight, but it is not impossible to get it off in a pinch, and my daughter really likes the spoon that comes with it! I have used it to mash up lots of things since, and it has been great! The best part is how easy it cleans off, I hand wash everything so that is super important to me, I am very happy with my purchase of this!

Ok so where do I start? I never write reviews, and I buy my 99.99999 % of things I need on Amazon, and been a member since 15+ years. This thing is magical, space saver, and very practical. I have an eight month old, and he started solids at six month. Can I tell you I only used my vitamix one or two times before I gave this a try, and never looked back. Whether it’s avocado, banana or pasta, I just mash and feed him and he eats it. About a quarter of the time, whatever I make for my older child, will just be mashed with this and fed to the baby. Voila!!!!!
