It's a must that I give this company and product 5 stars. The starter looks just like the photo. Put in on my mover and she fired right up. The price is totally within all reason, with the prices that others are asking for this same" starter, is totally ridiculous!! This is even BETTER", you order it on amazon, it's delivered to your front door, you've gotten a "awesome" product, and saved a barrel of money, what more could you ask for..? If your not at home, for your safety, and the safety of your recieveing your purchase. They won't, I repeat", won't leave it outside for you. You'll have to pick it up from whatever server is used. Slightly inconvenient, but it's for the best for both parties involved.

This is the third starter I have purchased from this company. The description and photo were dead on. The starter while it looks just like the factory item is more powerful than the factory unit. I would also predict that it is going to outlast the original. 1890 Starts.

Nice Quality Starter, less than 1/5 the cost of the dealer price!

There were mixed reviews on this when I bought it, but mine is working great on my John Deere STX 38 with Kohler 12.5HP (1215) engine. The original starter had on less for tooth count, smaller gear, but this one fits perfectly with a larger gear and extra tooth. Turns over strong, no more click, click, click.. start of the original which had bad solenoid contacts that did not respond well to cleaning. When I looked at the OEM starter via the dealer, it was about $250, so I lived with the intermittent solenoid for years.. but this for about $40 is a bargain!

Perfect fit has worked great

Easy install.

Took about 10 minutes to get the old starter/solenoid off and the new one on. Works like a charm. Great product.
