They work!
There is a mouse in the house! So I set out 2 wire snap traps, old school. For two days, no action, no mouse. Today at around noon this package arrived with the Victor M140S quick kill mouse trap. Add peanut butter and at 3pm --BAM! Dead mouse in the trap! It works! It was fast, the mouse is dead, and I'm on the war path. I used to not kill the mice...so I would catch them and put them back outside. UNTIL I learned from the experts that they just make their way right back to you, which is what mine were doing. I won't kill them if they outside, we can share the environment. If you come into my nice clean kitchen though and are snacking and leaving your droppings behind, GAME OVER. Thanks Victor M140S for helping to keep my kitchen a clean, sanitary, healthy place to eat.

The M140S works great!
I bought three different types of VICTOR mouse traps. This 2 pack of M140s, a 4 pack pack of VICTOR X001JD93VZ and one VICTOR M2524S ELECTRONIC MOUSETRAP. I set them all up 1 of each VICTOR TRAP at the same time with the same bait[peanut butter] for three nights in the same place. Each night I caught one mouse each night with only the M140S. The bait was gone from the VICTOR X001JD93VZ and the trap did not spring. The bait was touched but never fried the mouse. I wish I could return that one. Going forward I will use only the M140S from Victor.

Heavy duty, safer and easy to set, catching mice like crazy, clean kill
I have a bad mouse problem this year, so I bought three different types of traps to test. The standard Victor wooden ones (works great, clean kill, but tricky and more dangerous to set), this one, and some little clamp style ones from Tomcat. This is far and away the winner for ease of set, clean kill, and easy to spot on the floor (so you don't catch your toes). Don't bother with the little Tomcat ones. The first night I heard the sound of plastic scraping across a hard tile floor, and knew that a poor little mouse was caught but not killed. I spent ages trying to find him, but couldn't until we pulled everything out of a closet and found him cowering in the back with the trap attached to his foot, where he had dragged himself and the trap from across the room. The blow that killed him also busted the little plastic trap. Poor mouse, poor me. I won't use those Tomcat plastic clamp-style ones again. Too lightweight, insufficient tension to kill, probably too small to catch even a mouse. They can't live in my house, but I don't want them to suffer when they go.

Ten Stars for this trap!
If I could give it ten stars I would. there is nothing worse than turning off your bedroom light to go to sleep and hear the mouse scratching and clawing in the attic above you. We tried sticky traps and the poison bait traps, and we didn't get much luck. We ordered two sets of traps which arrived at 4 on Friday afternoon. By 4:15 I had put a pea-sized dab of creamy peanut butter inside the trap doors and set them out. One in the basement and three in the attic. Each hour I would check on them to see if they lived up to the hype. By 7 the trap in the basement had one and also another in the attic. I dumped the mice in a trash bag and reset them. The next day two more house guests were evicted permanently. It's Tuesday and we have one more guest to dispose of. Just clean up the mess and reset them. Super easy, and way more effective than I thought was possible!

If you need one, just get six.
Sadly, I needed a mouse trap and instead of one I hoped to catch the whole extended family. This trap design is superior j. That you don’t need to worry about the spring in several other styles. I have used these before and they set easily, I’ve noticed peanut butter fits nicely in the little food area, and I got one. Yuck. But, they work.

Kills mice dead.
I’ve tried wooden snap traps, tunnel traps, poison bait and glue traps. The Victor M140S trap outperforms them 6 to 1. Yes, at least 6 dead mice in these traps for every 1 mouse in other traps. The design is awesome and gets even the smallest sneakiest mice.

Best of all Mousetraps
We had a problem with mice in the garage last winter and spring, I tried live mouse traps, glue traps, and these Victor Quick-Kill mousetraps. Oh my goodness...what a difference! So much for trying to be nice with the live mousetraps. The mice would not even go in them no matter what food I used as bait. We got a couple mice with the glue traps, but our mice soon figured out how to loosen themselves back off them and escape. These Victor Quick-Kill Mousetraps were the easiest to set up and use. They were also the most effective and the easiest to empty. Don't waste your money on other mousetraps, these are the absolute best, and they are reusable. We had a lot of luck using peanut butter as bait. I would highly recommend them. Get rid of the mice and then seal up any openings where they could be getting in. Problem solved!

Victor M140SSR 2-Pack Quick-Kill Mouse traps
Living in a suburban area, we have the occasional mouse problem and we have tried numerous methods to solve it. Of all the different traps we tried, this one is the easiest to set and reset. On other types of traps, the mouse often manages to lick off the bait without getting caught. This one kills the mouse before the critter even gets to the bait, so all you have to do is reset the trap and put it back. We had several other traps out for weeks with limited success. With these we caught 2 mice in 2 days.

Gruesomely effective
Okay, this feels a little strange to get jazzed about but I had a serious mouse issue in our garage due to improperly stored bird feed. Once we realized the issue we still had to manage the mouse problem. I got these and caught one on basically every trap I had out for a few nights. After three or four nights of that it became much less frequent and I never caught another one after a week. These are much better than the older version I had as a young child that would blast your fingers off in a moment's notice! 5-stars, easy.

It Works and is Easy to Set Up
These are the easiest mousetraps I've ever used. Load the bait, pull back the kill bar, place the trap. No smashed fingers, no frustration. I wasn't sure they really worked, but yesterday one of them got the mouse that has been running rampant in my apartment. I wanted to re-use it, but the kill bar smashed the little guy's head so badly, it wouldn't come off the trap. I decided it had done its job, and threw the trap out. Still have 5 left, but no more mice. Update: Got another one.
