After reading many reviews of this set and others like it I decided to try these because other reviewers were concerned about accuracy of measurement, as I am. I need the "pinch" for my cat's dry medicine, and my vet says a pinch is 1/16th of a teaspoon. After comparing the "pinch" spoon with 2 separate teaspoons (from true measuring sets, not flatware!), I found this to be as close as possible to the required measurement. My comparison was by volume, not by weight.

I had been looking for 1/16 and 1/32 size spoons... but could only find ones shown like this item, with only “smidge” “drop” which was incredibly frustrating. I ended up ordering these as they were the best price and through Prime, since there are other almost identical items like this if you search. I figured I could just etch or sharpie the number measurement onto the metal once I got them... BUT I just received them and as you can see in my photos, the spoons DO include the numeral measurement along with the word! So they are better than what the seller displays... If I was the seller, I would update the photos to accurately represent this item and potentially sell more.

This set of small/mini measuring spoons is very handy. I have a small dog on medications that require very small dosages, and this has been a great help. I have liked this set so well, I ordered a set each for 3 of my friends with small pets and for my dog-sitter too. They all love the convenience. While the sturdiness is not 5 star (the metal could bend fairly easily)...it doesn't need to be super strong for my purposes. I have used my set twice a day for over 2 months and have not had any issues. So glad I found them!!

I am thinking the manufacturer must have solved the product quality issues, at least with the set I purchased. The metal is good quality, no rust even after multiple washes. The cups and spoons have a bit of heft to the hand, but not too much...this isn't an obscenely expensive Williams-Sonoma set, after all. However, they do add a bit more panache than typical el-cheapo K-Mart sets, and certainly made to last longer. If your house is like my house, where guests tend to congregate in the kitchen while dinner is being made, this set not only gives off a good impression, but it performs well also. I bought this set with some reservations after reading early reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance...it's a good product.

These are perfect! I use them to measure my Vit C for my serum - I make daily - these make it super easy. I'm here to order another set to use in the kitchen. **I wish to address the measurement question that has been posted - the set I received is engraved with both the cute names such as "dash or drop" but also with the 1/8 etc equivalent. I hope that this helps :0)

ACTUAL CONVERTED MEASUREMENTS: The spoons *do* follow some sort of logical size progression as they get smaller and they all appear to be within approximately 5% of their expected nominal size. Here's the conversion: TAD = 1/4 tsp DASH = 1/12 tsp <<<< not 1/8 >>> PINCH = 1/16 tsp SMIDGEN = 1/32 tsp DROP = 1/64 tsp

These measuring spoons are cute and seem to be pretty sturdy. I keep/clean/manage a fish tank at my office, and with so many different people wanting to feed the fish all the time, they were being overfed. So, I decided which spoon should be used and keep that with the fish food with strict instructions on how much to feed the fish. It seems to be working out well. I didn't need the measurements to be precise, but I needed small measuring spoons and this has done the trick.

I have been looking for something like this set for a while. When I mix a supplement from dry ingredients I want consistency and I get it with these. I use the two smallest ones the most. You won't use these a lot but with some ingredients there is nothing better. I do have a scale that can weigh down to 1/7000th of a pound (in grains) but it is a pain to use. I just make the conversions, find out which spoon is close and note whether it is a level scope or mounded and go about my business from then on. The quality seems to be very good and they should last a long time.

One I received are marked with both types measurement markings. Works well for taking bulk supplements in proper amounts. I use a scale to weigh the different powders initially to get the mg equivalent for each type supplement because of different densities & mark them down. Works well for my application.

I ordered these spoons thinking that they'd bear only the cutesy "tad," "pinch," etc. engravings, but turns out they DO include the numeric teaspoon measurements on them as well! I'm including a photo so you can see the engravings for yourself. BTW: my 1/64 tsp is missing from the pic because it is in use, but I can confirm that it is also in the set. Great buy.
