Good inexpensive cargo liner
Great cargo liner. Installed in my 2016 Mazda CX-5. Very easy to cut, I marked it and cut a little at a time and it looks like it was made for my SUV. When first installed I did notice a smell, so I left the windows down all day and about an inch down overnight, after that I didn't notice a smell.

Looks like custom fit in ten minutes!
This is a great mat if you don't mind trimming it to fit your car, which is easy to do with a sharp box cutter. I didn't feel like paying over $100 for a custom fit mat, so I spent $20 and ten minutes of my time, and it looks like a custom fit mat. Perfect.

Great value!
This mat is a great value for the price. I'm really glad I bought it, and I recommend it highly. I don't think you could do better without spending about $100 for a custom liner. It is thick enough to be durable, lie flat, and provide protection, but not unnecessarily thick and heavy. I was able to trim it easily with a sharp pair of good scissors. The central portion has a 5/32" high lip around it. It wouldn't keep a lot of water contained, but if you put something in there that was dripping wet, it would probably keep that contained. The area inside the lip varies in width from 36.75" to 40" and in length from 25" to 27.5". If your cargo area is smaller than 42 wide or 29.5" long, you might not want to buy this, since you would have to trim into a 1" border around the outside of the lip. I don't think that would look good. Inside the lip there are raised, criss-crossed lugs to help keep things from sliding. These would also impede the movement of any liquid contained there and make it less likely to go over the lip. For the overall dimensions of the mat, look at the photos the seller has posted. One of them shows the dimensions more clearly than anyone could describe them. The rubber doesn't feel very sticky, and I was concerned that it wouldn't keep things from sliding around; but it does. I put a couple of boxes of different sizes and weights on it and accelerated, braked and cornered much harder than I normally would, and I couldn't get the boxes to move. Without the mat, they would have been sliding all over the place. The trim lines are very well thought out. They are so well spaced, and have some nice curves, that they almost look like a decorative pattern; so any part that you don't trim off will still look nice. There were even trim lines along the back edge that made it easy to fit the curved edge at the rear of my cargo area. The trim lines are grooves; but the material isn't thinner there. Instead, the bottom of the mat under the grooves extends down below the rest of the mat by about the depth of the grooves to provide the same thickness as the rest of the mat. Someone said it didn't smell, and someone else said the smell went away in two to three days. Mine smelled strongly of rubber, and it took a couple of weeks for the smell to go away. And I have a lousy sense of smell. I had it stretched out in the sun and fresh air for a week, and then another week in my garage before I put it in the car...and still there was a little rubber smell. That's just something you have to expect when you buy a new product made of rubber. It was worth putting up with the smell, because the mat is great! If you happen to have a 2011 or newer Dodge Durango, I have put some information specific to how it fits in my 2012 Durango in a comment to this review.

Fits my needs
Installed in the back of my 2018 Honda Pilot. Wanted something that would cover the back cargo area with the 3rd row seats down OR with them up. Good luck finding that cargo mat! Well, this works great and it's less expensive than the OEM mat. It's a rubber material that easily folds up, so if you want to use the 3rd row seats the mat can fold and accommodate that.

Customization and Durability
Worked for my 15' 4runner. Can't beat it for the price. Love that you can customize it. Not thin material like I thought, feels thick and like it will last. No odor when unboxing.

Works great!
Absolutely love this, I bought it for my car, a Chevy equinox, so the stroller would not damage the carpet lining in the trunk area. Has a strong rubber smell but it does go away over time, it's been about a month since installation and it's no longer there .

Five Stars
Heavy duty and plenty of cut-line options. Fitted mine to the trunk of an Audi A6 very well.

These are great for the price
These are great for the price. Granted they are no weather tech which are specifically for a vehicle. These meet the need to just get something down over the rugs.

Nice protection for my new car
Easy to measure and cut. Nice having the extra protection in my cargo area and it was a great price. I was contemplating getting a custom fit mat but couldn't justify the expense. Just the usual rubber smell - not any different than my factory floor mats.
