This raincoat set is so cute! The rain jacket is made sturdy out of lightweight nylon umbrella-like material with a sturdy working Velcro closing. It's sewn well; stitches are in place/& are even with no loose threads hanging allover the place. It's a snug but alright fit. The rain hat is made out of the same material and fits the dolls head well. The white tee shirt fits perfect & is of a decent weight cotton ... Stitched well also as is the denim jeans (elastic waist pullons with 2 side and 2 rear pockets) with a slightly tapered leg (fitted)This clothing fit my American Girl doll to a 'T', just like the picture. The umbrella, absolutely working and adorable. Doesn't have a strap to keep it closed or a sleeve to store it in like a life-sized umbrella, and a 5 year old may need some assistance opening it to it's full capacity (metal spokes and heavier metal pole with latch that clicks to keep it opened and to release it to close is a little hard to push)but that's fine, mom can help. It too is like a polyurethane nylon-type of umbrella materials. The boots ... very stylish but a little flimsy ... My 8 year old granddaughter had a little difficulty pulling on one of them (they're a little snug with no opening in the back so that it could give a bit and they're soft/collapsible stretchy-like), made out of shiny polyurethane material something like oil cloth, but they're workable and really compliment and complete this little outfit. Overall I was pleased with it!

Perfect fit and absolutely adorable!!!

I got this outfit for an 8 year old girl for her American Girl doll. The outfit was beautifully made and I found no problem with the stitching. She had no problem putting the clothes on the doll by herself and once on the fit was perfect. For the price, I was worried the umbrella might break easily or the shoes wouldn't fit right. I worried needlessly. The shoes fit perfectly and the umbrella is very sturdy and functions beautifully. A strap on the umbrella would have been nice so the doll could hold it but for the price of the outfit seems silly to even mention. I wonder if some comments of girls not being able to get the outfit on the doll were maybe girls younger than 8 years old. American Girl dolls are for girls 8 and up so given the age suggestion an 8 year old should have no problems with this outfit.

This doll outfit is just adorable and so well made. The price is amazingly great especially considering you also get everything you see in the picture included in that price. If you were to buy this entire outfit and all those accessories from "the store" , you would be spending quite a bit more. With four granddaughters who have this kind of doll I truly appreciate the price and the wonderful quality I can get here!

Adorable and well made!

You get so many cute pieces for such a great price!! We use it on her Anna (frozen) doll who is only 16inches so the clothes are a bit loose but my daughter doesn't seem to notice.

Great Price! My niece Annie Jo loves American Girl dolls...even though she's only 4 she has 3 (and the bitty boy and girl twins lol) already and takes very good care of them. One was mine when I was little (Molly) and one was her moms (Felicia) But we can't always afford the American Girl brand clothes and accessories! When I saw this I knew she'd love it! All the peices r well made and sewn...good materials too! The umbrella has a real metal handle and opens just like and umbrella does...cool! The boots may be a snug fit for her Dolly's feet but we can help her. We always play as a family ❤️ I put the,min a clothes box so she will not be expecting doll clothes this Christmas!

Perfect for American Girl Dolls

We ordered this with an amazon gift card my daughter received for Christmas. She loves it! It fits her American Girl dolls perfectly and looks great on them. She did say the boots were a little tough to get on at first, but she is 8, and I reminded her that if they are tight fitting, they are a lot less likely to fall off. I am not sure how the outfit was packaged, since she had it opened and on her doll before I got home, but after seeing it on her doll I would definitely recommend it.

Great For Kids Dolls and Education

I purchased this for a program I will be working in. I got this to teach the kids all about rain gear and proper dress code. This set is just great. I love how this set comes with so many pieces. In addition to an outfit, it has everything the kids need for the rain. The rain coat is nice and comes with a great matching outfit. I love the umbrella. It is so realistic. The kids love opening and closing it. I will point out for really young children, the umbrella might be difficult, but you will just need to teach them how to use it. The rain boots are adorable. They have such nice details on them and slip on and off the foot so nicely, it is great. Overall, one of the best sets I have seen. Very realistic and easy to take on and off the doll. Great for fun and education combined.

So cute, great addition to our collection

I. Love. This. Outfit! It's even prettier than the pictures and very easy to put on and take off. The pieces look good mixed and matched with others my daughter already has. My only quibble is that there's not a strap to keep the umbrella closed securely and it's hard (impossible) for the dolls to hold, but these are picky criticisms. I'm planning on buying another one in a different color. Very nice.

This was probably my favorite purchase ever. It was the cutest little outfit, and I couldn't believe the quality of it for such a cheap price. Everything about this was adorable, and my niece absolutely loved it. She right away put it on her "Our Generations" doll, and it fit perfectly. I would definitely buy this again, and I highly recommend others to try it out. You won't be disappointed. It looks exactly as pictured. I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars.
