These are great! Inexpensive, strong, easy to use, easy to change height, but stays locked at desired height. Rubber grips aren't really the way to hold down a keyboard. If your keyboard doesn't have a slot for the attached two dangley strap pegs, I figured out a quick solution: My recommendation is put velcro (or generic hooks and loops) on the top of of the stand, and put on the bottom of your keyboard where the stand and keyboard make contact. Also, since I have cats, I had to cut off dangley straps with scissors, because my kitties thought the straps were cat toys. lol.

Ok, let's begin by saying that... I am NOT a musician nor do I know ANYTHING about instruments or such BUT... here are my 2cents. I bought this for my sons electric keyboard. This stand is pretty sturdy. The material is really good. You can adjust the height. Pretty easy to open, close and/or storage. Once you get it out of the box just open, adjust and that's it. Super easy. The keyboard we have is the e-media. Very lightweight but, i think this can handle more than that. Hope this helps!.

To start, I am not a musician. I have a very old Casio keyboard that I just mess around with. I simply wanted a stand to keep it on so it would be accessible all the time. This stand is great. It's sturdy, easy to adjust and will fold flat if I ever decide to put it away. At its highest I can easily attach the straps underneath. Since I'm keeping it lower I'd have to fiddle with them a bit to make them work, but I have no problem with that. The rubber pieces on the top do a great job of keeping the keyboard from sliding around. And it came out of the box ready for use. Big thumbs up!

I have a rather heavy, older electric keyboard... weighs close to 60 lbs. We had it disassembled in storage and lost the original legs. Not wanting to pony up for a new quality keyboard I thought to just try this stand. I really did not expect it to hold the heavy keyboard. When it arrived, I was surprised at how light it was, that it needed no assembly, that it just came out of the box working like it should... I set it up, and put the heavy keyboard on it and it holds up like a champ. Some reviews mention it jiggles a little while playing, and it does, very little. Put up against a wall and not just "freestanding" and it is steady as the original legs. I am surprised. And someday, may get a new keyboard, and this little light stand will handle it... Love it and recommend it.

This is a nice scissors style keyboard stand and it is an excellent value. The frame members are strong and the floor pieces are extra wide which provides good stability. The height is adjustable using the spring loaded pin with a nice large handle. The new stand was tight and the pin needed an extra push to pass through the selected hole. For a scissors style stand it is very good, but as such it does have some limitations. When the stand is sitting on carpet it may rock slightly depending on the squishiness of the carpet and pad, but on our carpet this is not a factor when we are playing our piano. For professional gigs A table style stand may be more appropriate, albeit at a higher cost. This stand was accurately represented and it is a good solution for our need for a home keyboard stand. We are very satisfied.

This is a great little stand. I bought this to support my Behringer UMX 610 and it fits perfectly. There are some straps on the side that I assume are supposed to hold the keyboard in place but there was nowhere to put them on my keyboard. It's nice and sturdy with moveable rubber rests which is great so the bottom of your keyboard doesn't get scratched up. The adjustable height of the unit makes it easy to position my keyboard exactly where I need it.

The stand arrived in good condition. It's the right size to accommodate our Casio CTK-550 (an older keyboard model). The stand adjusts heights without much of a hassle, once I figured out the pin deal. Having read other comments, I worried that the pin would be an issue. Here's what I found. Standing in front of the stand and pulling out on the pin wasn't very effective, since it's made to be snug. Standing on the opposite side of the stand and pulling the pin while pushing a little from the inside against the end protruding from the height hole, I was able to get the pin to pull out of the hole without a lot of effort. However, standing to one side with the stand in front of me, putting one of my feet on the stand foot closest to me, the push and pull worked without any effort. Once out, standing in that position allowed me to adjust the stand smoothly by pulling up or pushing down on the opposite stand arm. I appreciate that that sounds like a lot of figuring and acrobatics. But explaining it clearly is where most of the effort comes in, not actually doing it. Now that it's up off the lower surfaces and onto the stand, we'll see how long it takes the toddlers to pull the whole thing over. Ah, a keyboard - fun for the whole family.

This stand is perfect for my needs and better than I expected for the price. I bought my 6yo daughter a 61 key keyboard. On the lowest setting, she'll be able to sit correctly for practice and the keyboard fits with just room to spare. The straps also bolted in perfectly. Everything is sturdy and ready to go for her. The best part...no tools needed. There's nothing to put together. It's ready to go out of the box.

The item was well packed and arrived undamaged. There was no setup necessary it was in one piece. I just opened the stand and adjusted the height and that was it. All metal construction except for the latch pull. Notice the double plated reinforced latch stopper. My motif is pretty heavy and it doesn't budge this stand. It's very sturdy. I have no doubt it will be safe on this stand. Not sure why they put those extra straps on the frame. I won't need them. They are too short anyway for the height I want to use the stand.

Great construction. Holds any 61-key keyboard (tried a Nord and a M-Audio controller) really nicely. I can adjust the stand to hold the keyboard high enough to play while standing (and I'm tall), or a little lower to sitting-on-a-stool height, or to sitting-on-a-conventional-bench height. The safety straps on the bottom were a concern for me -- I thought they'd be ugly or annoying. But you can loop the strap and put the bolt through it and it gets it up and out of the way. You can also use them for cable and power cord management, which is what I'm doing. The price is excellent (paid $13.76 a couple weeks ago, now it's down to $11.76). Going to buy another as a gift now!
