Purchased as a "used- very good condition" warehouse deal due to the packaging being slightly damaged. The pump was brand new but at a $20 discount! This is the second pump like this I've bought. I use it in the bed mounted turbo application. I've used it with a restrictor and without a restrictor on the turbo. Works great either way. This pump is self priming so you don't even need to mount it below the turbo drain, but I'll tell you right now that your turbo likes it better if you can get it gravity feeding below the turbo. I no longer have ANY oil dripping from turbo after mounting it below the turbo drain. Absolutely no oil in the charge pipe either. It will self siphon, but it's not the best solution. My first pump started acting up the other day. I looked at it, and the pump body is just coated in oil, due to my leaky connections. I'm sure the oil got into the electrical stuff. Otherwise it'd still be working fine, I'm sure of it. It's a bit loud and "screechy" until the oil warms up and thins out. These pumps are a godsend for rear mount turbos. The can run dry without damange (no diaphragm).

Pump is great for what I needed it for I'm a service technician and I needed to fill my 10 gallon oil tank with 30w motor oil on about 20 pumps a week I have a 100 gallon tank on my truck and mounted it on top and it can fill my 10 gallon tanks pretty quick way better than the diesel pump I was using the oil was way too heavy and couldn't move it at all in cold weather this pump moves it quick with no problem

No more lifting 5 gallon buckets of hydraulic fluid! It pumped 5 gallons in about 2 minutes.

I was skeptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. This pump kicks ass! I use it for a scavenge pump for my rear mounted turbo setup and so far it's been going for 4 months with no issues. I'd advised a little teflon or pipe sealant around the barbed fittings, but other than that it's a plug and play pump. As far as noise goes, sure it's a little loud but I cannot hear it over all the merica coming out of the exhaust of my cammed ls1. Besides, Can you really hear anything other than skynard while blasting down the freeway with the t-tops off? I think not

This pump works great!!! A plus is the fact that you can run it dry without hurting the pump. We were using to drain hydraulic oil out of oil tanks and it worked quickly even though we were outside in cold weather. The only negative issue we had and wish they offered was to have one of the hose adapters come out as a 90 degree turn instead of having both of them straight. * We plan on mounting it to a board since the base is a little unstable. *** Also, standard sized tubing from Home Depot or Lowes will not fit on the ends without heating the hose, forcing it on and using hose clamps.

I used it to make a Scavenge Pump, which could be connected to the cigarette lighter, or battery posts. The first use of the pump was to remove the oil from the Hydrostatic Drive on a Troy Bilt Horse riding lawn mower, and replacing it with Mobile 1 20W50 Synthetic Oil. Pictures are as follows: 1. Scavange Pump 2. Accessing Htdrostatic Drive Fill Plug. 3. Inserting Scavange Pump Input Hose Into Hydrostatic Drive Fill Port. 4. I purchased this pump to evacuate the DEF tank on my ML350 bluetec. I installed alligator clips to hook it up to the car’s battery and also wired up a simple On/Off switch to control the pump near where I was working at the rear of the vehicle. Overall the pump worked great, developed good discharge pressure/flow and it self primed itself. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Works great. I use it on waste oil. Pump flows good volume

Used pump to extract 10 gallons of hydraulic fluid from my backhoe sump and then pump replacement fluid back in. It could empty a 5 gallon bucket in about a minute and it was about 40 degrees outside. Very impressed and a very well made solid pump!
