I use this filter in my humidifier continuously from November - March. It works great! After use, I discard and replace with a new filter every November. This filter is a perfect fit and works great!!

Fit my application well with no issues

Had a new furnace installed and new humidifier. Didn't expect the media to only last one winter. This fall I turned the humidifier on and water was coming out of it because of minneral build up (were about 7 grains hardness if I remember correctly) So I purchased this and no more issues.

These evaporator pads fit the Aprilaire 550 perfectly

This is a good buy for two evaporator pads. I can usually change this in the humidifier at the beginning of the heating season and it lasts until next year. They do deteriorate over time, so at this price I would just go ahead and change them annually and don't worry about trying to clean them.

Works perfectly in Aprilaire.

Exactly what I expected. Works perfectly in #550. The panels i previously used either let in too much water or too little. Constantly had to adjust the humidity control dial. I will be reordering this panel only in the future.

Perfect Replacement

I have an American Standard AHUMD200ABM00BA Humidifier and these Aprilaire 10 filters are an exact replacement. Good quality and actually can last more than one season. It depends on how much you have to/want to run your humidifier. Definitely look for calcium and mineral buildup in the filter. A clogged filter can produce water leaks as the flow of water is being restricted. Best practice is to just replace the filter at the beginning of the cold season and you shouldn't have any issues. Good quality and works well.

Dont try cleaning your old one, just replace it.

Another replacement panel, just like all the others before it. It gets replaced every fall before winter comes and i start using the furnace. Gets me through until i replace it again the following year.

Worth the investment

What a difference a new water panel will make. My old one was close to ten years running and when I was working on the furnace decided to take a look at it. It was chock full of deposits. Popped in a new one and it was like the humidifier was brand new again. Make sure you put the yellow dot to the top so the drip flow will be correct.

Can't go wrong with OEM, came in prefect condition rather have these than paper ones that get disgusting even though advertised as doing all this bonus stuff
