Bought this for m 9 month granddaughter to use when she started trying to walk. It worked great for her. She is now 11 months old and walking on her own and she still plays with this everyday. Her 4 year brother also loves it. It loads it with his toys and are constantly delivering it from room to room. The grandson also loves riding in to while his little sister pushes him. The bumper in front does help with avoiding dings in the walls. I have even used it to hold soda bottles for a "ring the soda bottle" during a carnival theme block party. I do try to keep the wooden barriers away as I can see how they can break easily....especially with my very active grandchildren. I plan to keep this forever so future grandchildren can use it. I want it to become a forever family item.

A great choice!! Perfect gift for our 1 yr old granddaughter who wants to practice independent walking. She loves pushing this everywhere and loves to have her 4 year old brother ride in front as she pushes. Well built. A little on the heavy side, but that doesn't stop a one year old from pushing it. The wheels roll easily. It is a little difficult to steer as the wheels don't turn right or left, but the kids figure it out. Removable sides allows them to load it up with dolls, dinosaurs, blocks or each other. I'm so happy I chose this for my grandchildren! They have spent hours pushing this wagon around.

The bumper on the front was a really good idea. Assembly was fairly simple with minimal tools. There was some damage to the parts, but it looks like that was a common issue. We had no problems with it slipping out from under her, very sturdy and designed well for that. Be aware that it is slowed by a plastic "clicker" on the back wheels to keep it from going too fast for them. "Clicker" is a good term since it does click loudly as they are pushing it. It doesn't drive me too crazy, but I wish there was an explanation of this in the description. This is an optional piece, but would be needed for little ones who can't walk yet. My daughter has used it for a couple of months and is now walking on her own and pushing toys around in it.

This was the BEST purchase I've made in years! My granddaughter had taken a few steps but wasn't confident walking when I gave this to her. She loved it! She immediately pushed it all over the house giggling and laughing. It gave her just enough help with balance. A few weeks later she was confident enough to walk on her own but she still loves pushing it everywhere. It's so cute seeing her pushing it at the park and stopping to get her sippy cup out of the wagon, take a drink, put it back and keep going. I think this will be her favorite thing for a long time. The wagon has enough resistance not to roll away from early walkers but she has no problem pushing it on carpet, hardwoods, asphalt paths, and even the lawn. I highly recommend this Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon. This is the #1 thing to buy for a baby learning to walk or for a toddler.

My grandson 11 months, absolutely loves this and could use it immediately. He was so pleased and empowered to be walking! The resist push is genius and keeps it from shooting out from under him. It is super sturdy, will not tip over, and really adorable. He loves the soft clicking sound it makes (which is not at all annoying). HERE"S THE STRANGE THING!....They decided to drop the ball when it came to quality of the rails. They are cheap thin pine and can break easily if a child leans on them just right. One side came splintered from the box. Its just odd that the major part of the wagon is so well constructed and yet they neglected to continue the quality to the railings.I mean for $80 it should be flawless. Ugh! On Radio Flyer's website you can request warranty replacement parts and they ship them free. It was simple to do so kudos for that. All in all I still love this wagon and my grandson is so happy with it that I'm gonna say it was worth the money. Hopefully RF gets the message and beefs up the rails.

I'm very happy I purchased this for my son, he absolutely loves it. This is definitely the best assisted walker I've seen available. My son is tall and weighs more than most babies his age, so a lot of the other cheap plastic or wooden assisted walkers were just not tall enough or heavy enough to hold his weight. This walker is very solid and sturdy which I feel makes it safer than any other product I reviewed. It’s also incredibly easy to assemble, took me less than 15 minutes. (If you know how to read, follow directions, and can use a screwdriver, plyers, and a hammer, then you shouldn't have a problem assembling this quickly and easily). Another thing I like about this is the resist push, my son is taking his first steps with this walker so having a feature to slow down the wagon a little bit is wonderful. The only thing I don’t like about this product are the removable wooden sides. I read some negative comments about how these broke very easily from toddlers just leaning on them, and after seeing how thin and cheap these pieces of wood are I don’t doubt it. I’m just going to leave these off to avoid the risk of injury. Otherwise I think this is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Love it! So, I am a baby toy minimalist, and to make the cut in our home something has to be functional, not big enough to get in the way, serve multiple purposes, be of high overall quality, grow thorugh stages of development with a baby so that it has some lasting value, and truly loved by the kiddo. This works on all levels. This is a nice quality wooden toy with an attractive classic red radio flyer appearance. The side panels are easily removed to lower the sides. For a crawler, it is fun to get in and be pushed around. It's a great place to keep some toys and babies enjoy moving them in and out of the wagon. As they begin to experiment with pulling up to standing this toy is so-so - like all toys of its type there is a feature that slows the wheels, but this can absolutely fly out from under a baby. It's not a terrible hazard - part of the process. Once a baby is walking or pre-walking, this toy really shines. A new walker can still navigate this pretty confidently and have the fun of taking some toys along for the ride. Something I really like about this is that it doubles nicely as a toy container. I put all the smaller toys in it, the baby usually begins playing by unloading or rearranging them, and when he is all done we can load them back in. I really like that it doubles as storage. As a baby hits toddler years I expect the sides may not hold up, they are sufficient but not super strong. All in all, a really great toy, looks beautiful under a Christmas tree, will grow well with a child, and is well suited to both physical and imaginative play.

This wagon gave my son the confidence to walk! We weighed it down by putting a case of Red Bull in it - which made for some funny pictures, but it was the exact weight and size we needed, so....whatever works! Literally after a day of pushing this wagon up and down the hall, our kiddo was walking on his own. Huge difference from the light plastic push toys that just flew out from under his feet. He actually received one of those plastic versions for Christmas, and rather than using it for balance he just picked it up and threw it across the room. (He was a really big strong baby!) He also got HOURS of daily enjoyment being pulled around the house in circles on super cold winter days. Tip: use a belt or some kind of strap to save your back! We actually had the Jolly Jumper padded strap laying around, and it worked perfectly. We didn't notice any dinks or dents in our furniture or cabinets from this thing, and it went flying at high speeds into pretty much every vertical surface of our house for a wall. The edges are pretty rounded and well designed IMO. The only thing I don't love is that the wooden slats just slide in and out. My son was constantly taking them off and throwing them around. You could easily fix them in place with adhesive or something, it's just an odd design choice IMO. Assembly was pretty easy and straightforward too, and the materials are all high quality. This can be borrowed, returned and still passed down I think.

My twins who just turned one cannot walk yet but they really enjoy pushing each other around in this little wagon. It may be the cutest thing on the planet. 😃
