This is a great loom. I tought myself on this and it exceeded my expectations. Great first loom! (Pictures is only my second project!)

I highly recommend this loom for ANYONE wanting to get started in this hobby. I've never weaved before. The instructions were quick and easy. Within a week I have been able to create these three pieces. Thoroughly enjoy my new hobby with the help of this great loom!

This is great, even bigger than I expected!

This is a nice loom. I'm having fun using it, and I'm an adult. First I made a little cover for the back of my recliner, and now I'm making segments for a blanket.

This is awesome and well-made!!! My two nine year olds love it!

Used to make a huge weave for my sons nursery! Exactly what I needed! So much easier than using a tiny lap loom! And really affordable!

This is a great little loom. I have a mentally disabled nephew who spends a lot of time coloring or doing word search puzzles. I was searching for something different for him. I had concerns he could manage it. WE CAN'T GET HIM AWAY FROM THIS LOOM! He is planning of offering his items for sell to make a little Christmas spending money. You go Matt!!!

I really like this loom, yes it is not the best out there but it a very good made cheap loom. I have never weaved so I stalked Utube and watched hours total to see how experienced crafters did it. I finally decided to start with simple looming. I was concerned at first because I wanted to have only 1/4 inch warping and the notches are 1/2 inch. But when I starting to warp my yarn, I found I count wind around the notch twice so when I started to weave it worked out good. That in mind I started weaving simple, then I started using big fat yarn, fuzzy yarn and then randomly put strips of fabric. I have just started but thought I would share with people who want to start that just start and have fun with it. Added a few to show anyone can do this.

This is an excellent loom for the cost, whether you're interested in purchasing it for a child or yourself. I've wanted to try weaving for awhile but never wanted to spend a ton on something I didn't know I'd even like or stick with, and I didn't want the hassle of making one by hand, hammering nails and finding an easel and such. This loom is a pretty substantial size, especially for this price. It is easy to use once you get the hang of it, although the directions aren't very helpful, honestly. You're better off going on YouTube and watching beginner weaving tutorials and just applying them to using this loom. The pictures are all black and white and aren't very detailed or clear. Most of the directions are just written out and difficult to translate into what you're doing. For a product that is geared toward children I'm surprised by how poorly the directions are executed. I also recommend getting a curved tapestry needle if you're an adult or teenager, because the large wooden one it comes with is rather bulky and isn't going to cut it for detailed work. It's helpful for some things, but I much prefer using a tapestry needle, or my hands with chunkier yarns or fabrics. You can use any size of yarn, string or fabric with this loom. A previous reviewer said that only a larger worsted yarn can be used, but I disagree. You just have to kind of play around and see what works and make adjustments to how you thread the loom and what you thread it with. I managed to have two strands of the white string the loom comes with in each space, which makes the weave tighter and accommodates a smaller worst. I also recommend using a wide tooth comb to keep your weave tight after you've finished a row. All in all, this a great craft tool and is a ton of fun. I honestly haven't stopped weaving since I got it set up and went to the craft store to get all kinds of yarn ($100 worth lol). As it is now, I'm well on my way to having a brand new wall hanging and I'm looking forward to all the possibilities this loom will help me create in the future. If you want to start learning to weave, this loom is definitely a great option without spending a fortune.

This is a great tool to learn how to weave. I am 65 and bought it for myself. It was easy to figure out and easy to play with. After I used the string provided to run up and down (warp) I immediately put the yarn aside and started weaving with strips torn from fabric. This worked wonderfully. I went to a thrift store and bought extra large (4XL) skirts in fabric I loved and started ripping into strips. Great tool to learn with.
