This was my second one of these drying racks. When I knew I wanted a second rack, I looked at other models and I came back to this one because I know it is a great product. It is light weight, easy to put together and does a great job drying clothes. The only complaint I can think of is one that others have mentioned and that would be the tape. But I just ignore it and it isn't a big deal. The original rack I have is over 3 years old, and I have used it almost every single day (my dryer quit) and the rack has held up well. No rust or broken parts. I have bent two of the bars by trying to stuff wadded up clothing onto a bar, but that was my fault, and I would much rather have a bar that is a bit bent than a heavier metal because then I couldn't pick it up one handed or move it with clothing on it. I can't recommend this product enough.

I’ve been searching for a portable drying rack for my outdoor deck. This is perfect for all my shorts, baby clothes, pants and shirts, it even has a place to dry shoes or gloves. The rods are small enough to use with clothespins. I like to put my dresses on hangers to dry so I also bought a different type of tall portable rack to go along with this one. This one does not stand tall enough for my dresses to hang freely on hangers. It is also a bit small for sheets, but I use my other dress drying rack for those. Between the two all my laundry can be dried. This rack opens up and folds so easily and it is light weight enough for me to carry out onto my deck without straining. It’s been plenty sturdy for me too. When my clothes are dry it’s folds up flat and I store it in my closet. On rainy days and in winter I pop it open indoors. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for, a stand alone drying rack that can be used anywhere. I’ve been very happy with mine.

This is a true heavy duty drying rack. Works great for us. I like to dry my clothes outside in spring and summer, it does the job. It holds one full load from my washer. Very sturdy! Helps me do my bit by saving energy. It's expensive but it's worth it. Before this I had a drying rack from Walmart was so flimsy it would collapse everytime I would use hence I bought this one. I usually do a lot of research before buying this and it's worth investing. If you are looking to buy one, but this hands down!!

There is always a worry about stainless steel claims and the strength of the metal with items like the one here. In this case, worries are misplaced. The product was far superior to what I imagined it would be. It includes actual stainless steel, solid construction, and high-quality plastic. This was an excellent purchase and I am very satisfied.

I used to own one when I studied abroad in Germany and loved using it to dry my laundry since I didn't have a dryer in my home stay. After so many years passed I've decided to get one for my own home in California too. Even though we have a dryer at home, some clothes really shouldn't be thrown in a dryer to dry. For the delicate pieces, I prefer to use this drying rack instead. I chose this one because of the good reviews and I'm glad I did. It's very high quality and durable! No assembly required and easy to store away! Overall, love this!

A few years ago, I ordered both this drying rack and the Household Essentials Collapsible Adjustable Gullwing Metal Clothes Drying Rack, Grey because I wanted two racks and I wasn’t sure which would be better. After having used both for years, I can say that I would definitely recommend the Cresnel Stainless Steel drying rack over the Household Essentials rack. The Cresnel rack is much more stable. If you pull on one side of the Household Essentials rack, I have found that the sides of the rack will pull out of the center parts, resulting in the rack tilting over. The wings of the Household Essentials rack will also pull out and collapse if you are pulling a towel off of the rack and it snags on the rung. Neither of these problems happen with the Cresnel rack. And the Cresnel rack has more places to hang things on the lower level. The only situation for which I would recommend the Household Essentials rack over the Cresnel rack is for someone elderly or who might not have the strength to snap the wings of the Cresnel rack into place. It does take a bit of force whereas the Household Essentials does not. Both racks have been through years of laundry drying without showing any signs of rust.

UPDATE: After three years, this thing is still in perfect condition. I have it set up about half the time in my mudroom/laundry room. It still holds a whole load of laundry, including jeans and sweaters. It has NEVER rusted. I use it inside most of the time, and on the porch on summer days. I have recommended it to a lot of people and am now buying one for my grandmother, who prefers line-drying but is having trouble with her balance and can't reach up to hang her clothes safely. This is lightweight enough for her to move it around and set up easily and hang up a bunch of stuff. Some reviews say it is not sturdy, and the only thing I can think of that they mean is that it can fall over if you push it while it's empty. Duh, don't push it over. My cat jumps on this while my clothes are on it and it doesn't fall over (sadly, it doesn't come with cat-deterrent or automated cat hair removal). This thing is really awesome!! Okay, maybe that's overkill--it's just a clothes drying rack. But, if you're looking for an awesome drying rack, this is it. It is sturdy, folds up small, and holds A TON of clothes! It holds an entire high-capacity load with room to spare. I even put jeans over two bars and don't run out of space. It is really, really sturdy. I have hung up a load with six pairs of jeans plus other clothing, with no wobble. I washed my husband's heavy-duty canvas work coats and overalls and hung them up with still no wobble. It folds up very easily, to about the same size as those cheap wooden-dowel versions. Someone in a review was complaining about how much space it takes up when it is fully open--HELLO!! It is supposed to hang up a lot of clothes! What did you want it to do, make a whole load of clothes magically take up less space? If you want to hang up 20 garments to dry, you have to have space for 20 hanging rods with air circulation between. I have not a single complaint about this item.

This dryer is exactly what I've been searching for! Instead of draping my kids' swim stuff all over the bathroom, I now have this. I put their swim suits and shirts, and whatever towels we've used on it, and leave it outside for a couple of hours to dry. So nice to finally have enough space to hang our family of five's wet swimwear. Looking forward to finding even more uses for this super versatile dryer!

After living in Europe for a while where many people used drying racks instead of dryers, we decided to get one when returning to the states to save energy. It takes longer, obviously, but it also makes clothes last longer, fold more easily, and we use significantly less energy, so it lowers our electric bill. This rack can hold old a full load of laundry, and is very well organized. When done, it stores easily in the space between the dryer and the wall. It is very durable, and we use it outside when the weather is warmer. I love it.

Love my drying rack. It's sturdy and still light. Folds flat to fit in between my washer and the wall when not in use, easy to bring outside in nice weather. This cloth diaper mama gives it five stars!
