Event hough I've only had this headset for a few days it works great. It's 100x more comfortable and convenient than the ones the manufacture provides. The sound quality is amazing as well it's crystal clear sound and blocks out other noises. I've already referred 3 of my coworkers to this headset because the original ones are junk. Also, shipping was super fast and packaged nicely. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Bought this to replace a D-shaped earpiece which I found awkward to put on and didn't like that it covered the ear canal reducing ability to hear environmental sound. I've had two full days (16hrs+) with this earpiece and am very happy with it. Audio clarity is great imo. The eartip fits nicely in my ear. The eartip is adjustable such that you can vary how shallow/deep you want to insert into the ear canal. The deeper you insert the ear tip the more it blocks outside sound (e.g. conversations around you); I'm still playing around with it but seem to be gravitating towards minimal insertion into the ear canal. You can easily pull the earpiece out and put it back in. There are two wires, one each for the microphone and the earpiece. Each wire has it's own alligator clip so you can attach accordingly. The wires are too long for the way I wear the radio but not a showstopper; I'd rather have them too long than too short. The only thing I'm not cracked up about is the microphone. It works just fine but is a bit large although you could argue it's a plus if you're wearing gloves. The talk button "clicks" a little loud for my taste but it's a small nit pick for an earpiece at this price point. Time will tell how durable it is but it's a $15 earpiece from China so.... --- update 12/17 --- i had to trim the plug ever so slightly to fit the radio case. nothing major just slight shavings but i was having trouble with the headset staying plugged in. now that the plug has been shaved it "snaps" in like i would expect. still liking this headset very much. it really has improved my ability to hear and have more natural conversations. my only nit pick on it is the bulky microphone piece but for under $20 this is a great headset.

This earpiece is great, I've been using it daily working security for over 4 months now and its held up perfectly. Mono connections that plug into the radio are nice and tight, as well as the audio connection that goes to the earpiece. I am amazed that the wires / clips / microphone housing have held up so well after all the twisting / pulling / yanking it has endured from all of the hands on security work. The earpiece is extremely comfortable and goes unnoticed even after hours of wear (especially because I wear glasses). Last thing to mention is that the clear tubing is very easy to trim to make a custom fit for any ear. Overall very happy with this earpiece, Ill be purchasing another one if this one ever goes out.

Works great. Easy to hear. Only down side for me was the learning curve of getting it to stay in position around my ear so it doesn’t slide off. Now that I’ve worked with it there’s no problem. I’m guessing that’s no issue for people who’ve used an earpiece before. So I’m giving it a 5.

Ordered this for my work as I always have to have a radio and there are never enough mics to go around. Got tired of trying to hear it on my hip. Works great. The ear piece takes a little getting use to, but it is not too bad once you get use to it. Sound is great mic works great. My only issue is the cord have to stuff it in my pocket as it is a little long and don't want it to get hung on anything. Would be great if the had the coiled wire like some of the other mics. Still giving it a 5 star as I feel this is a personal issue and not anything that would prohibit me from buying again.

First off, I work in a jail so I really needed something that would allow me to use my radio virtually hands-free. I was considering this product and the microphone speaker extension. I decided this option because I wanted to be able to communicate with my other officers without blasting the conversation to the inmates. Before buying this product, I was really concerned with sound quality. I have been using it for almost a week now and the sound quality is great! I can hear all of the radio traffic, and my fellow officers can hear me clearly. I would recommend this product to anyone with a similar need.

I purchased this for work I do in Daytona during Speedweeks. I have to wear it 12-16 hours a day and need to be able to hear clearly the whole time. This earpiece is fantastic. Everything else I have tried has either given me a headache after so long or I could not hear the communications very well. I have since purchased 2 more that I have given to others and I would recommend this to everyone who needs to wear a device for a long period of time and have the communications be very clear. Great item I would highly recommend and a fantastic price..

I did a lot of debating before going with this set simply because it has a cheap price, so I'll try to give a thorough review. My equipment sees a lot of wear-and-tear so I generally strive for quality rather than continuously buying cheap replacements. My radios go from emergency management services to touring across the country, so it's part of my daily apparel and often my only means of communication when towers are down. I actually like this better than my Motorola shoulder system and the expensive Lash system that chaffs my neck. It works great with my Motorola radios and I was surprised by the build/sound quality for the price. The PTT button plays nice with gloves (crucial) and the mic provided sharp audio even in a concert venue. The speaker has a quick disconnect for both the wire and tubing as well as an arm to lock the wire in place when installed. I can't give an opinion on the in-ear piece that comes with it because I've only used molded open-ear inserts. (Suggestion...soak the inserts in warm water and then you can form them to your ear just like molding a mouthguard. Obviously form them before connecting to your audio tube, which you will also need to trim for proper fit.) I also like that Retevis used a metal elbow where the earbud and tubing connect, which is an improvement over the plastic ones that always break at that pivot point. Side stage at concert venues can be challenging for communication but I was pleased with the sound quality in both transmitting and receiving. In fact, I bought two more for other radios but unfortunately had to go with a different Retevis model due to differing PIN configurations. Everything feels solid with this set but that certainly can't be said for the other Retevis units I received. Hopefully they don't go cheap on this version in the future. I'll post comparison pics just to show you the difference in quality and hopefully detour potential changes in the quality of this one.

I purchased this for my work radio. I really like that the plug kind of plugs in with a "snap" into the hole in my radio. It doesn't get pulled out like on some other radios I've used. I wanted an ear piece that screwed in, but I tried this one anyway and I'm very pleased with it. The sound quality is great, Mic has a screened cover to help keep debris out. And I like the fact that you can unplug & detach the ear tube. Recommended!

These work well for our needs. We get around 100+ days a year of use on them. Our only failures are usually the acoustic tube will get moisture in it and stop sending the sound. Because we have several dozen units being used at a time, I keep spare acoustic tubes on hand to solve this issue. Many of my employee's like this style more than over the ear ones due to the clarity and volume they get with them. They are great for handing out to people who are not organized and lose things because they are cheap and easy to replace. I have not had any actual failures from the components other than moisture in the tube. I will continue buying these for my employees every year.
