Perfect camping movie screen! pairs perfectly with the Pyle PDA5BU Amplifier Receiver Stereo system set. I had absolutely no issues putting this together and taking it apart. NO PINCHED FINGERS like the other reviews noted. Maybe the company listened to complaints and fixed the locking spring tabs since mine are round. Just a little thumb pressure easily unlocks the pieces and allows easy sliding. Love this screen!!... took about 5 min to assemble and a minute longer to disassemble due to careful folding/packing. Didn't even look at the instructions, not rocket science! BTW .. this is replacing a bigger blowup screen that requires constant power, is twice as heavy and takes almost half hour to setup!

I’ve been a Quality engineer for almost 20 years. I am paid to pointing out manufacturing and design issues and fixing them. This product was designed very well. The frame: The main steel beams are bungeed together to four poles, eliminating the need to keep track of several smaller steel pieces. They all snap together easily using post and hole connections. The four sections also go together intuitively. Frame assembly took about 5 minutes, by myself. Screen: The screen has plastic clips that just snap to the frame, easy peasy. The right side and bottom clips have expandable leads, to pull the screen tight. Once the screen stretches to its final size (it is a woven piece) it will be even easier to assemble. The screen snap on process took another 5 minutes, all by myself. Once I had it placed, I went to go put the stakes in the feet to keep it stable for the evening. To my pleasant surprise, the pre drilled holes were angled inward, to prevent mild winds from toppling the screen. This means you do not always need the guy strings! Packaging: The screen has its own grey carrying pouch, separate from the black steel pouch. The steel pouch is two ply, ripstop nylon. Both pouches, when full, fit into one handy carrying pouch, about the size of a folding camp “umbrella” chair. I’ll show a movie on it tonight, and chime back in as to how the video looks. As a simple piece of engineering, though, this product is well thought out, assembles easy, and is easily stored when not in use. Oh, and the assembly instructions, if needed, are sewn into the large carrying pouch. Well done!

This screen was everything I hoped it would be! It is the perfect size my dad stands 6 feet tall and it is a bit bigger than him. I set it up indoors and it was pretty easy although I pinched my finger... The clips to put the screen on the pole is a bit tough but we got it done. All pieces came nothing was missing and it is very easy to take down. I paired the screen with The Epson HD 3000 lumens in both color and white brightness. I cannot wait to use this outdoors!!! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an outdoor screen.

Used it last night for a party. It worked great - assembly was very easy, the screen was nice and bright. Disassembly was a little painful at first - it has those spring loaded buttons you have to push in and it’s tough to push them hard enough with your thumb. I finally thought to grab a flathead screwdriver to help and that worked beautifully. No problem since I was at home, but if you were camping and didn’t think to bring one along you could find yourself up a creek.

Bought this over a year ago and it's still as good as when first purchased. We had anticipated using it for only one night but we loved our outdoor movie night so much that we use it all the time. No tears, it is a bit light weight so you have peg it in securely if the conditions are bit windy. We bought this along with the ERISAN 130" multimedia mini LED projector. Both were great choices and great value for money.

This product was great, we had a great movie night in our backyard. The set up was very easy, it only took me 10 minutes to set up by myself. The take down was a little difficult. My fingers were sore trying to push in the latches, once I used a standard screw driver to push them in, then the take down was much easier. This summer I am looking forward to having more movie nights, and to watch baseball on the big screen.

If you are looking for something permanent to use in your yard, there are better options. This screen is great for taking with you to friend’s or family’s houses. It’s also great if you only occasionally plan to watch movies or TV (think All-Star game, Sunday football games) where it’s not really something you do all the time. Like all products, they have strengths and weaknesses. This product is great because it’s simple to use, it take minimal effort to assemble and put away, and while it’s in use, it does that job well. The screen is a good quality canvas style material which has both strength and reflectivity. It also folds easily and comes with a bag just for the screen. Because it folds, creasing occurs, but when viewing the screen with a movie playing, you don’t see the creasing. Also, it basically becomes a non-issue because you can pull the screen taught using the straps. It tightens at the bottom and along one side to remove the unwanted creases. It’s really that simple. The frame construction is also nice. It’s powder coated aluminum and each larger piece of the frame is actually 3 pieces which connect together. These three pieces are connected permanently with a short cable and the ends connect easily with a spring loaded connector much like you find on adjustable wheelchairs, walkers, crutches or canes. Since everything is symmetrical, it doesn’t matter which way you connect the pieces! It’s self-explanatory although instructions are screen-printed onto a sheet which is sewn into the bag which contains the frame pieces. Very convenient if you are having difficulties. But the side pieces are interchangeable, the top has curved ends (which I recommend you install last), and the bottom is just a straight piece which connects into small parts which make the side pieces obvious which direction they need to be spun. The feet are easily connected and can be placed in either direction. It comes with stakes, spikes and ropes to hold the screen steady in windy conditions. Takes about 15-20 minutes taking your time and being careful to setup and/or to break down. If I had a car bigger than a Celica, I’d have gotten the next size up, but this screen is plenty large enough for most any gathering to enjoy a movie together. I use an Altec-Lansing boombox (the inMotion i7) which was made primarily for iPod use back in 2006 for stereo sound. It has plenty of kick, even for outdoors. It has an auxiliary input so that works well for me. I hardly crank its volume. I would love to, but the neighbors may not like it unless they’re invited, too. lol I also plan to use the Altec-Lansing mini-Lifejacket 2 because I’m sure this would also be loud enough for small audiences without lugging the larger boombox. I use an Acer HD video projector with 2500 lumens and it shows great on this screen after the sun fades over the horizon. Even when the occasional outdoor porch light went on during my latest viewing at my friend’s home, it still reflected plenty of image without the indirect light from the Auto-porch light from affecting it. I mulled over several options before buying this one, including constructing my own, but this screen really does what it’s meant to do. Provide a good, bright, clean image for projectors. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s on a small to modest budget. I highly recommend this for those who enjoy the idea of movie fun outdoors.

This is a slick item. Much easier to put together than one's have had before (due to the easy cinch straps). I have this in my garage and put 4 caster wheels on it to move with the portable projector. The cinch straps let you tighten as needed and eliminate any creases, etc.

Completely exceeded expectations. Made for a wonderful movie night on the deck with friends. Very easy to set up and take down, and the screen material seems strong enough to last for a very long time. I was expecting something a little flimsy that would get the job done for a few viewings. This feels like it might be the first and last screen I ever have to buy. The only challenge was that due to the humidity, taking it all back apart was a little difficult. Everything fit together so tightly that it was hard to pull the bars apart. That's a sign of good construction, so definitely not the manufacturer's fault.

The screen was a great addition to our backyard. It provides another "space" to enjoy for the spring and summer and adds an element of entertainment at the same time. Like roasting marshmallows while enjoying a move outdoors? Well now you can with this amazing screen! High quality material (canvas) and easy to erect or take down when you want to enjoy a different way of watching your favorite movie/s. Would highly recommend for folks wanting to add another area to enjoy and get some fresh air while you are at it!
