This is the best invention since sliced bread!! This is so much fun to play with and talk about being inspired creatively. You just want to sit and play.. It seems very sturdy and does not fall apart. I think once you have one you will want the bigger ones to play with too!! I just started using mine so I can't really talk like I'm a pro but there are lots of youtube videos that show you how to use this item.

Love my gel plate!

These are still so darn expensive! BUT! They are a ton of fun and there are loads of videos online that can help you learn. There are a couple of good books out there as well. I love gelli papers and use them for collaging. This plate is easy to use, clean and store!

Kid and classroom friendly!

I am an educator and have not only a small class set, but also a few of my own. I love using them in my personal art work and sharing that with my elementary classes (kids ages 4-11) has been a breeze with these. They are easy to use, clean up well and I have found that I can use high quality washable tempera with my young students and still get great prints. This is a hit and I will be ordering more sizes and shapes!

Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate - 5x7inch

I have the larger size, but this size is more convenient for smaller projects. The packing plastic case is sturdy enough to use as a protective case for storage which is recommended. Gel is firm and easily handled.

So much fun.

This is my first Gelli plate and I love it. So much fun. Watch a couple or YouTube videos to learn how to do it and then start experimenting.

Reliable product

This product performs as expected. Durable even though it feels like it might need special handling and could be easily damaged. I use it for several hours at a time and it holds up well . I also like the clamshell for storage. It protects it from accidental damage and curious little fingers!

A nice size for small prints

A nice size for small prints, or parts of larger prints. Good quality and easy to use. Lots of tutorials to be found on the Gelli Arts blog and other sites online. Don't forget to also buy a brayer, if you don't already have one.
