Nice for toddlers as well

I got this mirror for my 2 year old daughter who is interested in seeing herself in the mirror while making faces and finding a position where she can see the reflection in the mirror of certain things in the room. A regular mirror would not work for us since she's also throwing things or gets excited and is pounding on the mirror. We were afraid a regular mirror might break so we got this one. She loves the mirror, carries it around the house and tries to see certain things in the mirror. It also helps us when we want to clean her face after meals which was always a struggle but now she seems interested in seeing the transformation from dirty to tidy (let's see for how long this will last *lol*). So far the mirror holds up pretty well and she already dropped it on the floor several times. I am very glad that I got this mirror for her because it's a toy she likes very much and I feel safe giving it to her. So if you consider this for a toddler, it is also a nice toy for them and for babies it will be useful for tummy time and also later on as toddlers.

Love this mirror

Love this mirror! I love that it stands on its own and doesn't need to be propped up, but it does fold flat so it can be propped if you need a different angle. It's also like a tent so you can slide it over things like parts of a stander to change it up for baby, it's really versatile. It's soft and lightweight so if it happens to fall over while playing it won't harm the baby. It folds flat so you can store it easily. I liked it so much for my son that I bought a second one for my new niece. The other cool thing is you can stand it up on the floor facing you and baby and if you have baby in your lap facing away from you (like on the floor learning to sit or reading a book) you can see baby's face, it's the perfect angle.

Your child grows with it.

Granddaughter loves the mirror. It sits up or she can just hold it. I bought it when she was 3 months old, she laid on the floor and looked at her face, now she 7 months old and she holds it and looks at herself. Nice when they can grow with something. On a sad note, when I received it the plastic that covered the mirror was missing and the mirror had 2 scratches on it. It was to late to send back because it was present. It looked like maybe someone had already used it and sent it back.

Just right for tummy time

I bought this floor mirror to try and get my little one more interested in tummy time. Not reading the dimensions before I purchased, I was a little surprised at how tiny it was. Looking at it now, I would say it's the perfect size for enhancing tummy time. It's small frame is easily placed in front of my baby when he's on the floor. The height is perfect for him to see his smiling face when he picks his head up. The mirror itself is a nice smooth surface with no visible warping. It easily wipes up, as well. The stand is very lightweight so I'm not concerned if my baby knocks it over and, because it's made of fabric, I'm not worried about him getting scratched up if he plays with it. The mirror is very lightweight so I can shift it around as needed, but when we're done with tummy time, it folds up neatly into a flat parcel. A very nice addition to our tummy time!

Perfect size! The reflection is great and it has been easy to pack and take with us!! My daughter loves it!

Who knew babies were so vain?

I bought this when my twins were 6 months but I wish I bought it sooner. I put it off because there are so many small mirrors on their other toys, but they really needed a dedicated mirror. One loves looking at himself and thinks it's hilarious. The other not so much, but I get this is more about self-awareness than vanity. I especially like that the corners are soft and crinkly, because after looking at themselves for a while they enjoy eating it. The mirror itself isn't hard so I'm not worried about them getting hurt. Buy it!

Nice mirror, baby loves it!

We bought this to use with one of the tummy time mats and my grandson really enjoy it. It folds flat which is nice for storage, also to put in diaper bag for overnight visits to his other grandmother's house. Having this has definitely lengthened the amount of time our little one was willing to spend on his tummy, which initially was VERY little. Lol. The quality of the mirror is surprisingly good. The price was very fair. I am sure he will enjoy this for a long time and am glad we purchased it for him.

Does it's job very well!!!

I have read people complaining about reflective surface not being a real mirror but with all due respect I'm glad it isn't. One can't trust a baby with a real mirror. PERIOD. It can end up hurting our precious little ones should there be an accident. The reflective surface on this toy mirror is enough to keep a baby engaged and thus, it serves the purpose, despite not being a real mirror. The border is all nice and colorful. My baby loves looking at it too. Lengthens tummy time.

Perfect for tummy time!

We picked this up to sit in front of our babies during tummy time, and it's just perfect for that. The kids can see themselves in the mirror, and it seems to be a nice incentive to work their necks a bit. I see some other reviewers thought the mirror was more like a fun house mirror. I don't find that to be the case. I mean, I wouldn't use it to do my makeup, but the one I received is not nearly as distorted as they have made it out to be. This was perfect for what we bought it for.
