Great flag pole
This flag pole is great! We've had it now almost 2 years and it's held up well. My husband had it on our Ice Castle so it was outside in freezing temps, snow storms and gusts of wind (as you can see in the picture). The flag pole is very strong and would always stand high and straight. We did have an issue with it last year where a portion of the bottom of the pole broke off - but only because my husband placed the pole in the snow and ice on a frozen lake as a "marker" for other buddies on the lake and forgot to take it out overnight. It frozen to the lake and my husband had to break it off. The pole is still great, just a few feet shorter but is now our flag pole we use at home. Absolutely no complaints and it was reasonably priced!

Excellent for homes
Great flag pole. Sturdy in winds up to 20mph. Most "broken", or "bent" are caused by not keeping the joints inserted by at least 6 inches. Granted this will give you a pole that is about 18 feet tall, but it will allow for higher winds, like we have in New Mexico. This flag pole does flex in the higher winds, but we leave them up unless the winds are forecast to be over 20 mph sustained. With only one flag flying, it will handle even higher winds. If If you need one taller than this one, then go to a "commercial" single piece pole, with a halyard, like most county buildings have.

Nice pole, good value
Very easy to extend. If you are expecting much wind, make sure you tighten the sections a lot or else they will loosen and collapse at some point. It comes with plastic rings to keep the flag from wrapping around the post which works fine. The flag that comes with it is pretty lightweight and did not last long in my windy area (shredded edges), so only use it indoors or in calm conditions. The only problem I had is that you can't fly a flag at half mast. But if you only use the lower flag clips, the rings let it fall to the next section which makes it close enough to tell what's going on.

Beautiful and Easy to Assemble
Beautiful pole and so easy to put up. This replaced the pole we purchased about 3 years ago because the plastic swivel parts dried and broke. The cost of the swivel parts were 1/2 the cost of a new pole. Because were are near the beach and salt air, the parts of the pole no longer retracted. The price is excellent.

Love it!!!! It's an Aluminum telescoping pole it moves in the wind. if you think your getting a school yard pole think twice. Wish the top ball was silver and not ghetto gold....

Strong, sturdy, beautiful flag pole!
Awesome! I love this flag pole! In the past I have had sectional flag poles that are a bit cheesy in their construction. They flex way too much and actually broke in winds over 30mph. I've had this in the ground for about a week and have wind gusts up to 40mph! Still standing strong! I have a solar power light that attached to the top under the ball and it fit perfectly! I was hesitant to purchase this unit, but I'm glad I did. The twist lock feature for each segment is excellent and easy to use. Pretty slick design in you ask me. It's stout and looks awesome! The most challenging part of install was being patient enough for a few days while the concrete set. For the price, I highly recommend!

The #1 Flag pole to buy!
Got it in! Had boys graduating HS and college! Anniversaries to celebrate! However, got it installed today, Memorial Day 2018! Such a great way to install, secure, hook up the flag and raise it without a lot of hard work! It took my son and I literally, less than 30 mins.! Was so easy too! Have bought 3! Excited to put up the other two now that I know they're the easiest digging I've done mounting such tall flag poles w/o pouring concrete bases!

Works great and looks great
I have been looking at this flag pole for a few months and decided to go for it. It fits a 3’/5’ National Ensign and a second flag of the same size or smaller quite well. I decided to get the LED light for the top as well. No problems with it so far and seems to be plenty bright enough to nicely light my flags at night. I haven’t seen how long the battery lasts yet. So far so good. I like it!

Old Glory flies high!
My only regret is that I didn't buy the 30-foot pole and I didn't get oil rubbed bronze, which would match my house. The pole was easy to install. We pulled the pavers back, dug a hole for the base, filled it with sand and poured concrete. It's not going anywhere. LET FREEDOM REIN! MAGA

Very nicely constructed, only problem is it only flies two ...
Very nicely constructed, only problem is it only flies two flags, when I want to fly a third flag, I probably tie wrap two addition clips. Note: If you purchase, the best deal I found on Amazon for $22.00 for a Solar Top Mounted 26 LED light, the Gold Ball shaft is too short to go thru Light and screw into flag pole. Solution: use a 1/2 x13 coupling nut and appropriate lenght of 1/2 x 13 threaded rod . Attach the coupling nut to Gold Ball and the appropriated lenght of thread rod at the other end and put thru light and thread into pole.
