I have not used this rod yet but I'm already impressed with it. Its lightweight easy to use with push button collapse like a fiberglass counterpart. Also not stated in the description it comes with a bubble level for the rod.

Was able to shoot in about 50 or so elevations last week. Rod was sturdy but light. The included bullseye level let my helper get setup faster. The only thing I would upgrade is the carry case. I'm completely satisfied and ordered the 16ft rod as well.

This is a well made rod and at a very reasonable price. Once I got my head around the "bottom up" markings on the back of the rod, double checked them, and began to trust that method, the rod became extremely useful, especially for one man working. The tenths of a foot rod when I purchased, was significantly less expensive, which is the reason I chose it. Only took a couple mental "face palms" to remind myself that "those aren't inches!". After that, I found decimal feet much easier to work with. The fit and finish of the rod is very good, it's nice that it came with an extra locking clip and a small bubble level. The carry bag is very light duty, but it does have a pouch for the extra clip and level. I suspect I will never use the bag. Overall, I feel it was a great purchase. If I need another, longer grade rod in the future, I will be checking AdirPro's offerings first.

The 16' foot stadia rod we purchased, is of much better quality than our other shorter stadia rods, and is designed perfectly for field work, with very smooth sliding even when dirt gets on the rod segments. We use it with a self leveling, leverling laser, to obtain elevations in our study area, which is quick and easy with this rod, even over areas with high topographic relief. We have been able to obtain elevation accuracy to within 1/8 of an inch. Plus it comes in a nice storage "bag", to protect it when not being used. Our other stadia rods were too short to conduct these elevation measurements on sites where there is high topographic relief, and when we need to cross elevated roads where culverts are located under the road to obtain the inlet invert elevation and the outlet invert elevation. It is the nicest stadia rod we have ever purchased.

This is a quality level rod and is constructed better than the one purchased from a local survey supply store, at half the price. This one comes with an extra snap in section button and a little slotted level bubble that snaps into the first section.

Normally we would use fiberglass, I like the aluminum for diving. Nice product. Works well and has no play in it when extended.

The aluminum grade rod is perfect for my use. Along with the hand level I use, I am able to quickly take measurements to check roadway grading without setting up a full level. The rod is lightweight and clear. The included bag is perfect to keep it safe as it stows perfectly under the back seat of my F150. The balance when fully extended is really good. Some are very top heaven. This one isn't. A great rod at a great price. Definitely buy one if you think you need it.

I bought this grade rod to use with my new laser. So far i am really impressed with the 9ft Adir Pro grade rod. It is light weight and easy to extend and retract. The cloth storage sleeve is great for keeping the mud that gets on the grade out of my back seat. Because it is shorter than my old grade rod i haven't had any issues with the laser reciever needing to clamp at the joints of the grade rod which happened all the time with my old rod. I would definitely buy this rod again.

As a toter of oversized loads it is important to have an accurate measure of the height. This tool is one of the best I have seen. I highly recommend this height measuring stick.

Works great, slides and locks into place firmly and measurements remain accurate. Feet and inches on one side and feet and tenths on the other. reads clearly thru the Adir Pro transit builders level.
