Packable, great quality lightweight pack - PERFECT for travel!
I just recently returned from a trip to Switzerland and bought this before I left to use as a supplemental pack for touring and day hikes etc. This was the PERFECT pack! It is lightweight, easy to take along and holds more than enough for it's intended use, including an extra sweater, tour guidebook, a hat, souvenirs and even a light lunch, with plenty of room to spare. I also holds two medium size water bottles in the side pockets and they don't slip out! It handily folds into it's own interior pocket and shrinks down to about the size of a sandwich. It also has an interior and exterior pocket, which is nice to separate small items in their own areas. Very easy to take along in a suitcase without taking up a lot of room. It is sturdy and well made. I love this pack and am now using it at home for day hikes. One great quality product at a very reasonable price.

Perfect travel backpack
I use this backpack every day in NYC. I needed a bag that was lightweight, would hold a lot, durable, not too ugly for a woman, waterproof, the list goes on. This backpack hits every point. It condenses into a teensy little package that you can travel with, and it weighs next to nothing. It is water resistant to rain, splashes, etc (but I wouldn't recommend jumping a pool with it). It has nice mesh pockets on the side that are great for water bottles, sunglasses, or anything that needs easy access. The outside pocket holds a lot, and there's a lot of space inside the bag as well. The pouch that allows you to roll it up and store it turns into an additional pouch on the inside of the bag for storing more sensitive things, like money, ID, etc etc that you don't want anyone to have quick access to. The straps are sturdy, they adjust rather easily, and the bag washes without effort. This thing is great for hiking, traveling, or every day use. I trek around NYC with this and never worry that my back will start hurting or someone will sneak into it. Definitely one of my best purchases.

Sophisticated, attractive, lightweight, washable backpack
Hikpro 20L - The Most Durable Lightweight Packable Backpack, Water Resistant Travel Hiking Daypack For Men & Women Color: "Army Green 3.0" I didn't want another student Jans---t backpack; I wanted something lighter weight and a bit more sophisticated. While walking, I noticed someone wearing this Hikpro in black and took a photo of it on my smartphone, so I'd remember the brand. I bought the 'army green' version and LOVE the color. It is really a spruce green as shown in the photo, more than an army green, and it is so attractive. The shoulder straps are a tiny bit padded, just enough not to fold and bend, and very comfortable. The Hikpro is very lightweight, but roomy. I love the inside and outside zippered pockets. I like the 2 mesh water pockets, though my water bottle slips out of it; I don't know how these could be improved, perhaps an inch deeper? The zippers are great and everything looks good quality. WASHING: I was concerned about the questions/answers I read about not washing in washing machine, since it is a backpack, after all, meant to be used and gotten dirty. The company was very communicative to my email about washing and wrote me this reply to my question about cleaning it in washing machine: "Thanks for choosing us. We are here to assistent you until you are fully satisfied. • Hikpro backpack sure can be hand washed and drip dried. • And I think hikpro version 3.0 also could be machine washed in a laundry bag because we have improved the fabric to be much more durable. • But if there any damages to hikpro daypack, I will send you a new one. You can have a try. • Because hikpro backpack is water resistant, there a waterproof lining on fabric, too intense friction will cause the lining easily to fall off. I hope you will satisfied with my answer. Best wishes. Summary: This version (3.0) can be machine washed it in a mesh laundry

Dynamo daypack!
Broke in this pack on a trip to Iceland. Held extra clothing, snacks, aluminum water bottle and iPad safely and securely through all the elements, including rain (waterproof quality was impressive and unexpected). These folks believe in their product and it shows.

Everything I needed.
I was looking for a small backpack that I can use as a day-trip bag for my recent trip overseas, and this was what I needed! This backpack can easily be folded into about 5 x 5 inches so it didn't take up much space in my carry-on and it was very light weight. During the day-trip I was able to carry everything I needed in this backpack - wallet, water bottles, microfiber towel, pair of binoculars, sunblock cream, mosquito repellent, snacks, hat, poncho - and it still had some space left over. The color and design was nicer than the photos. Due to heavy rain, the backpack got soaked in water however the contents were okay although a little damp. Overall this backpack is my new favorite and will definitely be used on my future trips!

My favorite daypack for travel
I love this little pack and always tuck it in my suitcase on my trips. It weighs next to nothing. I carry my sweater or rain jacket inside, a water bottle on one side and my tiny umbrella on the other side, and sometimes my purse and or lunch in it while I am out touring the city on my travels. The straps are comfortable and it usually (unless it is really hot) doesn't make my back sweat! Yea! It seems pretty waterproof too. One cool thing I recently discovered is that if you position the closed zippers on the side they actually tuck way down behind your water bottle pocket where there is a loop where you can secure them with a paper clip or something. This makes getting pick pocketed much less likely. I also appreciate the front zipper pocket for maps ect and the interior pocket for easily finding your keys or a few dollars of spending money. It's a sturdy bag for being so light and compact.

Exactly what I needed!
I ordered this daypack for a month-long trip we were taking to Australia and New Zealand. I didn't know exactly what I needed because I have never taken such a trip before, but I knew I was limited to weight and size. It is hard to pack for a trip that includes all kinds of activities from climbing glaciers to hiking in tropical rain forests, going out to dinner and seeing friends after 30 years apart. I wasn't looking for a carry-on -- already had my limit there, but was pretty sure a day pack would come in handy. So all I knew in advance was that it needed to pack up small and be lightweight. The reviews didn't really tell me if this was the right pack for me, so I ordered it and the Outlander !Outlander Packable Handy Lightweight Travel Backpack Daypack, Red from a different Amazon seller to compare. They were similar and both well made, but the material of this one seems a little sturdier -- it's thicker and I just liked it more. So I gave my husband the Outlander and kept the Hikpro for myself (LOL). This little pack turned out to be FANTASTIC! I used it almost every day of the trip. Sometimes it held just my purse and my camera -- I use a big Canon SLR so it weighs four or more pounds, but other times it held that plus a coat and a change of clothes and a pair of running shoes or reef shoes. Sometimes it held several days worth of groceries. Others it held take-out. Toward the end of the trip it held lots of souvenirs to take home to those who didn't get to come. I used it biking and hiking and on trains and gondolas. It went to the beach and up mountains. It endured rain and wind and snow and cold. Oh, and sweat. I washed it twice in the washing machine, but didn't put it in the dryer. It came out perfectly and dried overnight. You can easily adjust the straps while you are wearing it, so no matter what the load, you can make it comfortable -- just be sure to pack the flat stuff next to your back. The straps are thicker and more padded than those of the Outlander, which mattered to me, but my husband didn't mind the Outlander's straps However, I noticed he didn't use the Outlander nearly as often as I used the Hikpro. The outside pockets held my water bottle and often an umbrella. Every couple of days the pack got mushed back into its little pocket and thrown back in my suitcase as we went to another place. It just takes a minute to do that. This was one of those times when I didn't know what I wanted, but got exactly what I needed. Thank you!

Great Design and Build, It Works!
I just bought my 2nd one March 2018, so had first for tough international travel daily use 7 months before front zipper failed. What I like: 1. Design. Inside pocket for safety, great outside pocket and holds ton of stuff. Really great if not best design and I have had a zillion packs. 2. Quality is great, all buckles and stitching good. Just well built and designed, comfortable and folds up great into pocket bag. 3. Handles water bottles great, no slipping or problems with web. I like the top loop, never fails. What I don't like: 1. Zipper on front pocket just failed. It takes a lot of abuse, but stitching gave out and its always a super hassle to get this fixed. I used duck take to keep zipper from flying off. I love it so much just bought a second one and figured can use a throw away when day comes (the used one).

Great Backpack!
Great backpack. I was a little worried that it would be too small based on the video and pictures posted so I took some pictures myself. I'm very happy with the backpack, especially when you consider that it only costs $20. Material is light and flexible, but strong. I LOVE the deepness of the mesh pockets on the sides. So many other backpacks have pockets that are too shallow and don't hold. The mesh pockets also look to be pretty strong.
