Good for manufacturing
This is my second pair, had the last pair for over a year. I work in a machine shop, the floors are polyurethane coated, so non slip is a must. The shoe stand up well to the oil and steel chips. They stayed comfortable, all the way to the bitter end. Excellent work shoe.

100% Comfort
I needed a pair of black shoes that would match the comfort of my "go-to" brand that do not come in black. I know the name Skechers from a pair of work boots that I once owned, so I thought I would try them for dress shoes. The fit was exactly what I am used to ordering. I laced them up in the morning, and spent the better part of a day wearing them under a variety of circumstances. These never felt like they were brand new; requiring a "break-in" period before they became comfortable. Fantastic grip, and not too aggressive a sole grip pattern. I am in clothing sales, so I like to dress business casual. These shoes look good at the end of a nice pair of dress pants. I received several compliments on how nice they looked. I highly recommend these to anyone who is on their fee for hours at a time. The wear-test will be conducted over the next year. I am expecting them to hold up well.

Five Stars
Great shoes. Classy but comfortable and can be worked in. Update - I got a full 6 months of daily use from these. They are now showing the test of time. I would expect to have to replace every 6 months at current wear. I loved every day of them, when they start to go - they go fast. You can polish these but they will wear out on the inside before anything else. overall a great shoe.

Takes abuse very well
The old pair is over a year old. This is actually the 3rd pair in 3 years. I keep buying these for my husband not because they wear out but because they last a year & he's in construction. The bonus is the slip resistance while installing metal roofing. They've got "good grip on metal roofing" but the downfall is "they hold a lot of mud in the tread".

Excellent all around!
Have had these for about 2 months now and wear them at least 5 days/wk 12 hours/day. I'm in the food business and on my feet most the entire time. I did add some inserts for more comfort but I haven't found a shoe yet where I didn't need to do that. With the inserts they have been the best I've found. I'm 6' & 195 lbs and have always been hard on shoes. So far these show no sign of wear, falling apart, etc. plus they've been very comfortable for the long days. Excellent tread depth. Expectations are that they will last at least 1-2 years and possibly more.

Good Durable Shoe
I've been wearing this brand and style of shoe for 7 or 8 years now. I had problems with planter faschitis and these shoes, with inserts, have cured it. If you want to get the most life out of these, you need to put some polish on them, preferebly every month or so. I usualy wear them for about a year as office shoes and then they get relegated to shop use for another year or so. By then they are worn out. I also like these because I can wear them everyday as casual shoes, and if I travel and need to wear a suit, they double for that, as well. Not as nice as some other dress shoes, but a good compromines so I don't have to lug extra size 13 shoes across the country.

A real leather upper and Pretty good nonslip
They are a decent medium wear shoe with wide sizes. I am a sous chef so I’m constantly moving 5-6 days a week long hours. I will say I own two pairs which I have found helps with wear and tear also a shoe dryer for those hot sweaty feet nights. They usually last about 4-5 months per pair but like I said I am all in it and walk on wet floors, spill things on them so on and so forth so they see it all. I will say the nonslip soles are a 7 out of 10. Overall a good leather shoe at a 50 ish dollar cost. As the shoe gets closer to 5 months the tread starts to wear down and they are not as good nonslip I Hope my little rant helps.

Finally a work shoe that lasts
I used to work in kitchens and now work in the meat department at a grocery store. So long hours on my feet and slippery conditions have been a constant irritation. I used to buy the cheap no slip shoes from Wal Mart and they were kind of comfortable and I wouldn't slip, but they would only last for a few months before the sole started to fall off and water would leak in and they would lose their tread. Not with these shoes. They last for for a year or more. They have memory foam insoles and are super comfortable. Pro tip: If you do wear these in a kitchen or food prep area, the reason why you will never slip is because the tread is very deep. The downside is any remnants of food or debris on the floor will stick in there. So before you leave work, hose down the bottom of your soles and get all that stuff out of there. It amazes me how much gets stuck. I highly recommend these. Worth the extra money.

Good shoe
What rest of viewers say about the durability of these shoes is wrong. I find these shoes last long time in fact one pair is on third year of constant use and other then appearance find them durable. two other pair I have I keep shined and clean as wear them for dress. The one pair where appearance is bad I use in a heavy work like environment and are not split, wore out, or falling apart. In fact I just ordered my fourth pair even though I at this time don't need another pair. Afraid Amazon may stop selling them so got them before it happens.

Sizing was a small issue, but worth it!
I wear a size 13 shoe. I had to get a size 10 in these to fit well. Nonslip, great arch support, works best with dr sholl's working insoles though. The insoles these came with sucked and killed my back. I stand many hours a day, so they had to go. They were glued in, but I ripped them out. The rubber works well in a slippery/oily surface. Not as good as my cat ones, but good enough to get the job done and I don't slip and fall. Would recommend these any day!
