Outstanding Customer Service

My experience with ProDental has been outstanding. Dr Don Closson does everything he possibly can to help with the fitting of the mouth guard, except make a house call! Following the written directions that were included and the online video, I was able to mold the first of the three included mouth guards somewhat well, but I still felt it was a little too thick for my mouth. I was able to wear it while I slept for a couple of hours, but not sleep the whole night wearing it. I decided to try and mold a second one. I got a better impression molding the second one, but I forgot to keep the notch between the middle of the upper front two teeth, and tried to re-heat and mold it again, which really screwed it up. I got the best impression and fit on the third mouth guard, but still was not able to sleep all night. I relayed this info to ProDental and was told I could send one of the mouth guards that I molded to be thinned out to 1 mm. I just received it back today and it was very well done. I still may not be able to get use to wearing a mouth guard all night, but it won't be the fault of ProDental's product. Plus, if I can or can't get use to wearing a mouth guard, I've only spent $20 instead of spendingt $300 to $400 by purchasing one from my dentist. Through the whole purchase and service process, ProDental kept me informed and offered helpful suggestions. I highly recommend anyone in the market for a mouth guard to help prevent teeth grinding try ProDental out before putting out hundred's of dollars for a custom made one from your dentist that you may not ever be comfortable with.

No more Grinding - no more destroying my dental work!

Great value and easy to mold. It took very little time custom moulding the tray to my upper teeth. It easily was reheatable to continue to get the right fit for my mouth. It's comfortable and I was worried about drooling but I don't! I'm looking forward to no longer destroying my previous dental work from grinding my teeth whilst I sleep.

ProDental night guard works well

I first bought the regular ProDental teeth grinding night guards and was happy I got a good deal, except that I did have a little gagging because they were bigger than I was used to. Then I got an email from the dentist who owns the company asking me if I was happy with the original teeth grinding night guards or if I wanted to try to the slimmer version for free. Since I think I am stuck with a night guard in my mouth the rest of my life, I was happy to try the slimmer version. Well, it is perfect! I can't believe that a company would send me something for free without my asking. Yes, the price is right, the product is excellent, and the service is amazing.

So impressed on all fronts!

Fantastic customer service! If only all companies were like this! This particular night guard was a little too big, and when I sent an email to the address provided, I was immediately answered. In a few days I had the thinner smaller mouth guard (I am a very small woman), and it worked beautifully. Watch the video and you will find the molding to be easy. I have a guard that came from my dentist- 300 dollars. And this one is SO much better. I'm sending a link to the product to all my friends and family who, like me, grind their teeth at night. Maybe it is our stressful times, but so many people do this. We need to keep our teeth and this will really help! I recommend highly!

Good product, great customer service

I ordered the 3-in-1 mostly due to all the positive reviews. They are all true. The customer service with this company is excellent. As some others found, the guards included with the 3-in-1 were too big/bulky for me. I have never worn a night guard before and it was just too much in my mouth for comfortable sleeping. However, the company states in their literature that if we have this problem, they will send us a thinner guard for free. Those are perfect. I have been wearing the ultra slim one for two weeks and I'm very happy with it. Some tips: read the directions. Watch the video, then read the directions again! Second, it states to remove the guard from the hot water as soon as you see the edges curling - that's too long. By the time you can see that and you take it out and place on the wet paper towel, they have curled and collapsed all the way. First one ruined, good thing they send you 3. I did the second try for 1-2 seconds less and that was much better. They tell you to immediately place your fingers in there to keep the walls from falling in. Do that, if only for a split second. Tip: wear chapstick or grease up your lips. With second guard I had trouble getting it in my mouth because I had to force it past my dry lips. Second one ruined. By the third one I had it down. As I stated, they sent me the ultra slim ones as soon as I asked for them. Same directions but I was even more conscience of the timing in the hot water. I'm happy to say I got it on the first try (they send you two).

Amazing product and company.

I can't say enough good things about this product and the companies customer service. After following the instructions to create my mouth guard, I got a pretty nice fit compared to other guards I've used, but it still had that annoying "bulk" to it. Luckily I read through the instructions completely and saw that ProDental will offer to shave the mouth guard down to about 1mm thickness all around for free if you mail it in to them. They even pay to ship it back to you! I just got mine back in the mail today, and now its PERFECT! Thank you ProDental. I will be recommending your product to anyone that needs a mouth guard in the future.

Great price!

I followed the instructions and tried the bigger mouth guard first. It felt fine, but I just couldn't get as tight of fit as I wanted-the guard was very forgiving in attempting to redo the fit I wanted (although I did not allow it to totally curl over onto itself). It also felt bulky, not like my couple hundred dollar dentist made night/bite guard. So, the fabulous thing with this, ProDental included (no extra cost) their smaller sized guards. For me, the smaller guard was a much better fit and not as bulky as the original one. Both the video link demo/instruction and written instruction were easy to follow. All in all, a great product for a terrific price. I would highly recommend this product if you need it!

Replaces my old expensive guard from the dentist!

I have worn a custom mouth guard for many years and it recently cracked. Dreading to spend a few hundred dollars on getting a new one fitted, I tried these ProDental guards. These were very easy to fit....Just: - Boil some water (and remove pot from stove) - drop the mouth guard in for about 15 seconds or when you see the edges start to curl - cool just a little for about 10 seconds on a wet paper towel (I was surprised it cooled down so fast) - insert it into your mouth (upper) - suck out all the air - (creating a vacuum in your mouth) - press the guard up into your mouth with your tongue - at the same time, use your fingers to press outside of your mouth to help form the guard to your mouth - remove the guard and drop into a cool bowl of water to help set the guard. - you're done. Also, I didn't need to trim the guard at all. The guard shrinks a bit as it hits the hot water, so maybe try it without trimming it first.

Very pleased with this night guard.

This is my favorite tooth guard. I have tried several different ones over the years after getting my first one done by my dentist. I'm sure I don't have to tell you how expensive that was, and it didn't last near as long as the ProDental. It also wasn't as comfortable. As for fitting this guard, it is pretty much the same procedure as others I have tried. I've never had a problem sleeping thru the night with this, and really once it is in, I barely know it is there. The instructions are clear and the customer support is ProLevel! My only nit pick is the lack of a storage case. I'm still using a case from another brand that is many years old. I should probably replace it, but I never think about it when I'm at the computer. Maybe they could provide an option for a set with a case, even if it is 50 cents more or something like that.

Look no further if you need a mouth guard for grinding! This company is unbelievable! They send you a pack of 3 mouth guards with very easy instructions (make sure you follow them). When you take the mouth piece out of the water place it on a paper towel briefly. I think maybe 10 seconds. Don't be afraid that it will be too hot, it's not. It easily molds to fit your teeth. I also trimmed mine a little before doing this. I've been using it for a month now and it's just as good as my $3000 one from my dentist. Aside from how great the product is - the customer service is impeccable. They are so helpful and accommodating and will send you a smaller mouth piece if you need one free of charge. They even check in to see how it's working out. Definitely recommend!!! A++
