so I decided I'd get my hands dirty and do the cabinet doors myself
Doing a kitchen makeover can get expensive, so I decided I'd get my hands dirty and do the cabinet doors myself. With unfinished raised panel doors running between $25-50 a piece this would certainly be an easy way to save a few bucks. My wife and I decided on doing a white with glaze finish. This was perfect as I could save some money doing the panel in MDF, which would save a great amount of money. Tonight while in my shop I decided to crack open the box to these bits and give them a try on some scrap I had laying around. I am quite pleased with how well they cut. Considering the cost, I was a bit nervous. I would say they cut as well as some bits I've purchased from Rockler. Tear out was avoided by using a back block, which worked well. I am at an advantage with the panel bit as I am using MDF. Overall I am happy. About 20 doors to do, so I'll chime back with how they hold up.

Ignore the Price Ignore the bias to more $$$ = better this set is amazing and at the price... it really is a bargain
OK so first off I am not a professional woodworker and just do it for hobby. I will say this these things are great and I have had no issues with these and to be honest with any of the Yonico Bits I have purchased through Precision Bits. So I have used these on a few types of wood that to be honest is a bit uncommon; but I am working on a special project. I will just say this I have used it on Blood-wood and Purple-heart both are very hard woods. So did the bits hold up yes they did. On my first go at it with Purple Heart I had minimal burning (but to point out that was my fault along with Purple Heart is pretty easy to burn) On my second go at it once i adjusted the feed rate and speed on the router i had just a little burning (tiny pause is my feed rate); but once again my fault I don't blame the bits for it. The fit and cuts came out pretty much flawless (other than my first go at it; which as i said was my fault for going to slow and pausing a bit in a few spots if i remember correctly but i don't remember the reason i did) That said I will also say that the joints fit perfect and there was no splintering. I have attached a picture of what it did to purple heart and blood wood. This still has the burn marks on it; but once again mind you that was my fault as you can see on the other side there is only one spot where i slowed the feed to much. (It was my first time with routing Purple Heart). (Yes its also a rough out and have to cut some stock etc.) I have also used it on pine and red oak and results have been great. So I cannot attest to how long they will last and hold and edge but I mean come on I ran it through some of the hardest woods and got great results (other than the user error part). If they are like some of my other Yonico Bits I believe they will last for as long as I need them too. Some of the bits I have used by Yonico are on point with other major brands. I really believe they will beat the normal store brand bits hands down. As a whole are they as good as Freud bits... I cannot fully answer that question given I only have a few Freud bits. I will say this though of the bits i have that are the same from Yonico and Freud... I honestly don't see a difference in the cuts they make. I would highly recommend these for a hobbyist woodworker and at the same time I would even recommend it to a pro and I say that because of the price point. As a pro you really don't have much to lose giving these a shot to see how they compair and if you find them up to snuff well you found a bit / brand of bits that is 1/4 the cost. I honestly have faith in Precision Bits and their quality and would not merely avoid them because of the price point. They get the job done... Period. One last note NO I AM NOT EMPLOYED BY OR RECEIVE ANY COMPENSATION OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT FROM PRECISION BITS. I have just had no issue with Yonico (which are their bits) and have read on some woodworking sites to avoid them by people who have never used them SIMPLY based on the price of them. If you ask me that is bad advice. Just because you spent 200-300 on a set that does the same thing does not mean everyone else has to... and if you have never used them how can you say they are not good... simply based off you spent 200+ on yours and these are $50ish... BLUF these get the job done and that is what we are all looking for right?

Perfect fit and very clean cut
I used these bits to make raised panel doors out of maple. I took care to make sure my router wasn't tilted on its rails which I think might be the source of the mis-cuts others have reported. The results were glass-smooth and the fit of the rails and stiles is perfect. Absolutely no burning and not even any feather edges to clean up. These are only the second time I have tried Yonico bits; previously I have used much more expensive bits from another manufacturer. Based on these results I'm sticking with Yonico.

These bits are a game changer
Rail & Stile jointery is very common in fine Woodworking, but very under supported in the hardware store. These bits make highly accurate cuts that make for a very professional finish. Having this new skill in my shop will change the way I do projects in the future. These are also very high quality bits. I can’t say enough about them.

Awesome set at this price point
Okay, Yonico my not be the best. That being said ... this raised panel door set exceeded my expectations gives beautiful clean cuts from all three cuts. I love it! Have made a few doors already with no issues what so ever. I have a variable speed router if you set the speed to the correct setting you'll get nice clean cuts without being disappointed. I would recommend to the weekend warrior woodworking hobbyist.

I love the Yonico Router Bits
I love the Yonico Router Bits! As owner (& laborer) of a construction & Remodel business I use these Router Bits almost on a daily basis! I have had no problems and the resulting products are beautiful! I highly recommend them for any woodworking project!

Forget the bits that are 4-5 time the price, these will work great.
I bought these because I was going to build my own kitchen cabinets. I really didn’t expect a lot out of these bits considering the low cost of them, but I was very impressed with just how great they really were. I completed the project with just this one set of bits for maple cabinets.

Value
I ran a couple pieces and it did a nice job. They are a good value. My project was a raised panel drop ceiling but I realized making similar to a door for the size of the project was just to labor intensive so I opted for easy method.

Good raised panel profile
They dont make a perfect fit, but they do a pretty good job, the only thing it doesn't fit it's the tongue and groove fitting, it feels small gap and can easily misaligned, overall and with some clamps help, they do a pretty decent job!
