This product is pretty ingenious and it's a pretty good price. I know some people might be tempted to get the big spiralizer where you turn the crank, but let's be honest--you're going to hate cleaning it and finding a place to store it. I bought this last week and I bought a cookbook for meal ideas. I originally left a review giving it 4 stars I think, maybe 3? Lifestyle Dynamics sent me an e-mail to address my concerns (basically, I'm a klutz and I nicked my knuckle). I'm really, really glad I said something because they sent me the ebook for directions and recipes. I've been making spiralized meals ever since I got it. It's great!! Everything tastes better when it's spiralized. P.s. They send you a recipe e-book when you purchase the item, I just didn't realize it! And the e-book has directions, too. Pretty awesome. I'd say it's a pretty good bargain!

I have really enjoyed my SpiraLife spiralizer since getting it

I have really enjoyed my SpiraLife spiralizer since getting it. This thing powers through a zucchini, carrots, and squash with ease. I'm able to make my family healthy meals by omitting carb heavy pastas. Zucchini noodles with marina and ricotta is a quick delicious meal I make frequently using my Spiralizer.

Don't let the small size fool you this is a great little gadget. Great for stir fry or salad making. Clean up is a breeze. Love the little brush and the vegetable peeler is perfect. Does best with medium size Zucchini.

Awesome cooking gadget!

The SpiraLife spiralizer arrived in two days. It is surprisingly small which is good since it doesn't need a lot of space. It's super easy to use! I was able to spiralize 2 zucchini in less than 2 minutes. It brings a small bottle brush to clean it up and a bag to store it. Also, you will receive a ebook with recipes! I made zucchini shrimp scampi and it was very easy and delicious! I recommend buying it! Here are some pictures I took while using it.

**AMAZING** This product is great; it came promptly, the box was in perfect condition, everything was tucked into a pouch so it already seemed like a fancy kitchen gadget! I was absolutely skeptical about using the Spiralife as I have had NO luck, at all, in the past. I have bought three different types of spiralizers and this was my last ditch effort, for under $15, why not? I bought a couple zucchini to try and it worked! the first time! I was making zucchini noodles like the gal in the picture! It's so easy to use, not bulky at all. I simply cut the ends off the zucchini, and cut it in half as it seemed to work better. I was so pleased with this product I ended up using THREE zucchini the first night I had it! it was so fun and made me feel so great because I had failed at all the others. I am looking forward to trying sweet potatoes next! The staff at Lifestyle Dynamics were great as well! I was so pleased with their product I emailed them a picture! I got a response over night and they are absolutely wonderful people! If you have any issues with this product, contact them. They stress contacting them before Amazon or leaving a poor review, and you should. They will correct the problem with no hesitation. Super friendly staff and fantastic product!

Update: This is literally the best customer service I have ever experienced! If you are searching for a spirlizer, I hope you buy it from here. Excellent customer service goes a long way and says a lot about the company and I would highly recommend! This is a quality product, but this is my first time spiraling vegetables, and it's honestly a waste of time for me. I know a lot of people love the zoodles, so if you are one of those people, I would definitely recommend! I just think it's more work than using a grater, and for the dishes I eat, that form of the vegetable is better for me.

Works well

Makes adding veggies to meals fun! The device works great for what I was looking for: a small hand-held spiralizer for semi-frequent use and to spiralize a reasonable amount of vegetables at a time (if you plan on spiralizing many vegetables very frequently, that might be a bit much for the hand-held spiralizer). After multiple uses so far, the blades are still sharp, and the "zoodles" are very noodle like. I like how the cap helps to use up all but a small triangle of the veggie so there is very little waste. Also Lifestyle Dynamics emailed recipes and tips as described, and overall they made me feel like they cared about my satisfaction with the product.

This is a great addition to your kitchen especially when you are short on space

I purchased the Original SpiraLife Spiralizer Vegetable Slicer – Vegetable Spiralizer because I am in "New Year weight loss mode" and "zoodles" vs traditional pasta made good sense from a caloric standpoint. I cannot tell you how delighted I was with this product. I've only used the spiralizer to create the zucchini noodles so far (I've had it for about a week and a half now) but it works perfectly. Admittedly, you do get a bit of a arm workout spiraling but I consider that a bonus, just have to learn how to use my left hand too! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to approach their veggies and fruits in a more artistic way and I actually learned that I love "zoodles". The accompanying photo is my take on a "Thai noodle" with not a peanut but almond butter sauce. I garnished with crushed pumpkin seeds and crushed red pepper flakes for a bit of a kick. So good!

So Simple, So Compact, So Happy!

After attempting to make zoodles with a vegetable peeler, I was left with an hourglass-shaped chunk of zucchini I stuck in the fridge in disgust, wondering if I'd ever go to the trouble again. But I can't eat pasta, for a number of reasons, so the next day I went shopping for a spiralizer. I have gadgets galore in my kitchen, most of which, if bulky, never get used. It's just too much trouble to pull them out of the cabinets, often requiring moving other gadgets just to get to them. Those big, multi-blade things with crank handles wouldn't even fit in the cabinets with all the other stuff. So I was very happy to find the simple, inexpensive SpiraLife Spiralizer. With Prime shipping, I even got it fast enough to use up that leftover zucchini in perfect, easy zoodles. And the device fits in a drawer! I love it, and the ebooks of recipes and health tips that come with it (if you respond to the email offering it) are great! Even on a low-carb diet, I can use some delicious-looking ones. The sellers take customer service seriously. When I responded to the email to ask for the ebooks, I added that my package tracking indicated I'd get it later in the day. The response with the ebooks attached was clearly personal, not canned. All in all, a great buying experience as well as a product I'm very happy with.
