It's Tofu
No conplaints yet, good texture, cooks well and have ordered several times.

Great buy
We travel a lot in our airstream and not having to refrigerate this is great benefit. Product was no different than the refrigerated ones. Will definitely buy again.

5 stars
I love Mori-Nu tofu because I can use it so many ways. Plus, it lasts and that is helpful. This brand is becoming more difficult to find in stores so I am delighted it is available here.

Good tofu, I think - Didn't scare off this newbie
I've NEVER gotten tofu before. I watched Food Wars! and wanted, no. HAD to try and make Mapo tofu. As a newbie, this stuff wasn't hard to handle. Just know to be gentle with it, because it is fragile and your knife glides through it rather than cuts. I opened up one of the small cartons they came in carefully (because i didn't want to damage it and I have kitchen OCD). My dish came out great and the tofu absorbed the flavors well, kept form and I would recommend it, will buy again or look for it in grocery stores near me.

Fried Tofu
These are great to order when I am too lazy to go to the store. I like to fry tofu in olive oil sometimes. It's not something I normally crave, but it is good.

Cooks up and Tastes Great Too!
This is perfect, because it doesn't need refrigeration until you open it, and you can always keep some on hand and not ever be tofu-less!

A silky but firm and versatile tofu
I usually buy the refrigerated tofu from the store, but I needed a larger quantity for a college hall event and I wouldn't make it to a store for awhile. Plus, I wanted a slightly more affordable price without compromising quality. The only tofu on Amazon that fit my criteria was this Mori-Nu brand. I knew that in buying silken I would receive a more delicate product, so I ordered extra firm and, before sauteeing it for my recipe, cubed and baked the tofu. The tofu maintained its shape for the most part while mixing it with the sauce, though not as well as "regular" tofu. The tofu kept its silkiness despite the baking, which I liked; it would definitely blend well in a smoothie. Its texture reminds me of the white of a soft-boiled egg. I would buy the Mori-Nu silken style extra firm tofu the next time I need a lot of tofu for a wallet-happy price.
