This thing is great, if you are using poly bags you have to get one of these. I've only used this one for a month but I can tell this was built to last and at this point would buy again. I really like how you can leave it plugged in and it just heats up when you press it down on the bag. I really like not having to turn it off and on.

Absolutely love this product I was really nervous upon purchasing because I thought the price was too cheap for what I’ve seen these selling for in ULINE, I am blown away by how easy and heavy duty this machine feels. We are using this machine commercialally and so far it’s been great!

Great Quality / Great Price! Includes 2 replacement filaments

This appears to be from the same manufacturer as the units we've used for more than 15 years. They're used in an industrial production setting and have held up wonderfully. Mechanically there have been issues with the hinge point, but that is to be expected with our severe use. Electronically I do not believe we have had a single failure! I highly recommend this product. NOTE: A few people have mentioned that they strip out the screw heads when trying to replace the heating element. The screws are Phillips head screws... The primary reason a Phillips head screw strips is because people don't understand you need to use the correct size screwdriver, i.e., don't use a #3 Phillips driver in a fastener having a #1 Phillips head! In reality, it's difficult to strip out a Phillips screw head IF you are using the CORRECT SIZE DRIVER. When somebody says "every single screw head stripped out"... you can bet the person thinks that Phillips are One-Size-Fits-All. Same thing goes for a standard slotted screw! With Torx head and Allen head, people seem to understand whether or not the tool fits correctly... It's just not as obvious with Phillips and slotted.

Great Product & Great Investment!

Best investment for cookies! I had to try sealing bags a few times with different temperatures before finally getting the sealing right. If you hold down the lever too long (and depending on the type of bags & temperature) the bags will melt. No need to hold down too long to seal. You can also leave the machine plugged as the heat seal will only work if the lever is pressed down. I use polypropylene bags for my decorated cookies for a more professional look and to keep cookies sealed for freshness. Great investment in my opinion!

Like many others, I purchased this to heat seal my decorated cookies to keep them fresh longer for my customers. It arrived quickly and works right out of the box. Just plug in and start sealing. Love it!

Works great!

I’ve sealed over 200 items, the indicator light might work for some people but I’ve found it best to find a seal you’re comfortable with and just count yourself so you have a steady seal every time. Otherwise this works great with poly bags and helps to make my baked goods look cute and professional while giving me flexibility to bake and freeze or allow customers to have fresh products that stay fresh longer!

Great heat sealer!!!

This is an amazing heat sealer!!! I was so shocked at how great it sealed my cello bags! The red light lets me know when the bag is sealed and only takes around 2 seconds!! I've spoken to Carol letting her know that I am very impressed with the heat sealer and she was a pleasure to communicate with. Great customer service!!

Great purchase

Easy to use. I purchased so I could heat seal my cookies. Works great with the cellophane bags I use.

Easy to use

So far this is working great. I tried it on some cookie bags yesterday. I had to play with it a little to get the right setting but once I did that, I made quick work of about 70 bags. Much easier than trying to tie bag after bag.
