UPDATE SECOND PARAGRAPH This is my day one review. Shipping packaging was well done and protected product well. I was happy to find it came with a storage bag for when you are not using it. It fits my 2017 Sierra with the factory spray in bed liner perfectly and took about ten minutes to install. I did not use any of the weather stripping that came with it as it fits great without it. It’s only about 17 degrees and I expect the material to flatten out when it warms up a bit. I will update my thoughts when spring hits and it has had some miles put on it. Ok so almost four months in and 6500 miles with weather ranging from about 02-65f. Still working great and looking great as well. Keeps everything dry and out of sight. Last three photos are taken after months of use.

Yeah right. I wish. Here’s the deal: no matter what type of tonneau cover you buy, there’s a compromise. The roll ups are cheap, but they can’t support any weight so they sag and look like crap. The solid one piece ones are secure and can take a load but the price is absurd. This is the middle ground. It’s a little bit better than nothing in terms of security. It will handle a bit of weight. And $200 from Amazon warehouse??? Beautiful. It looks great on my 2014 Silverado double cab. Takes about 10 minutes for one person to install. Mine leaks virtually nothing. It’s a no brainer. One thing that I was concerned about was how it would do through the car wash. I buy an unlimited pass and I wash my truck 3-5 times a week. No issues whatsoever. I am extremely impressed and very happy. I highly recommend. Thanks for reading Update: all right, it’s been through the car wash at least 35 times and has not leaked one drop of water. That’s pretty damn cool by me. And I can take it off or put it on in 4-5 minutes now that I have done it a few times.

I have to admit I research, and read reviews on every product prior to any purchases, and had a few reservations with this product.. so here’s my NO BS review.. Shipping- this product showed up in about four days with no damage, and no missing parts. Installation- directions aren’t the best, but once you open the box it is pretty self explanatory how this product installs. Not brain surgery! I live in Michigan and I installed this Cover on my 2018 Silverado 1500 crew cab, with a 6’6” bed on a frigid evening after work. I timed my install and from the time I opened the box, sorted through the parts, installed supplied weather stripping, and closed my tailgate when I was done and it was under 15 mins!! The free light is a lil cheesy, but it’s free, didn’t have high expectations on it, but it does function fine and does offer a lot of light. Over all install.. Super easy, user friendly, and great product. Product performance- First off I had an OEM dealership installed tonneau cover on my last truck which ran me about $1,200. The only noticeable difference was that the support bars were a lil more heavy duty, but not worth the extra $900!! My cover has been installed for about two weeks now and I love it! The brackets are plastic, but seem durable and heavy duty, doesn’t bother me. The weather strips that are attached to cover that sit on sides, bulk head, and tail gate all deal down tight. ( I don’t have abed liner, just a bed mat) I added the supplied weather strip on bulk head to fill 1/8” gap, and used other supplied weather strip where tail gate closed against inside wall frame of bed. So far I have no water leaks, or issues. It’s been through the car wash, snow storms, over 400 miles of 70 mph+ highway driving, and frigid temps, and so far the cover has performed flawlessly. I have no noise, or vibrations at highway speeds and truly have no complaints. I’m interested to see if the cover will shrink or stretch this summer with warmer temps, but currently I’m I would recommend this cover. I double check that the brackets are still tight a few weeks after install to avoid any potential issues, and when I did they were still tight. For a price competitive product this one is amazing. Buy it and spend you savings on other accessories for your truck! Nice job Tyger!

I bought a brand-new Silverado a few weeks ago and ALMOST bought the official GM tri-fold tonneau cover for almost a whopping grand. Holy cow what a mistake that would have been. This cover is the bomb! Fits perfectly, great price, and looks great. Thank you Tyger for providing such an awesome product!

I just received my cover today and I love it. It fit my 2018 Silverado double-cab perfect! It only took me 25 minutes to install, but that's because I'm a perfectionist. My truck has the factory rail-caps and bed liner. The placement of the clamps on the cover matched perfectly in the front where the liner didn't stop the clamps from going in. The camps near the tailgate however were a little tight, but all I had to do was push back a little on the liner and the clamps went right in. I read a few reviews that said the light was worthless; I disagree. I thought the light was a good compliment to the kit and it is pretty bright. I used the included velcro stickers to mount mine because of the bed liner but it does have a magnet in it, so if your bed is exposed you could just use that instead. The light does take 3 AA's not included. The cover has a weather strip installed all the way around so it will not scratch your truck and has a good seal. The clamps are only as tight as you adjust it, so I would think if you had any water get in you could just tighten it down more for a better seal. The kit does come with an extra weather strip for the tailgate and the front of the bed, but the bed liner made up for that gap so mine didn't need it. Overall I'm really happy with the quality, the look and the fit.

Reading the description and the reviews I had assumed installation would be easy but I didn't realize that it would be -that- easy! It took us (two people) only 5-10 minutes to do it - and we had to take it off to put the weather stripping on because we forgot to put it on initially (not required). Pros: ---Looks awesome on the truck. ---Super, super easy installation. ---Affordable. ---Really easy to fold up and bring it back down again. ---I don't hear any flapping in the wind, etc, so they designed it so that the fabric is really tight. ---With the weather stripping I haven't noticed any water inside yet. Cons: --None, as of yet. It's really that simple and looks that good!

I purchased the Tyger T5 Alloy Tri-Fold Hard Tonneau Cover a few weeks ago despite finding very few online reviews and limited resources to properly research performance for this cover. I based my decision on the numerous high ratings and positive comments for their soft cover product line. The $499 price was a key factor as well. I drive a 2019 Silverado LT (classic body style) with a 6’5” bed. The rather large shipping box was received timely and undamaged. I installed the cover in less than an hour (solo). I also installed the provided weather strip to the top of the bulkhead as there was a 1/2” gap. I added a Dee Zee Bed Mat (great product/price) as well. We have had 5 Colorado snow events since the day I installed the cover. I have driven through blizzard conditions and on the dry days, exceeded freeway speeds. Zero leaks so far and the clamps remain tight. No rain testing yet but I will share an update later in the year. With my locking tailgate, I now have a dry and secure storage space. So far, I am very impressed and have not seen a comparable product at this price point.

I purchased this almost a year ago on October 11, 2016. I don't leave many reviews. I just had to on this one. When I bought it, the mindset was a cheap solution that can be upgraded later. After almost a year I don't want an upgrade. I live in ND where we see some severe weather. -40 degrees to massive snow storms. This thing held up through it all. A year later still tight, fits great, and still leak proof. I also do a fair amount of interstate traveling, and the occasional off roading. Buddies of mine have covers they spent 10x the money on and wish they hadn't. My favorite thing about this is the ability to take it completely off if I need to with out having to worry about permanent hardware like rails and locks that you see with the more expensive roll up type covers. I can take this off and not worry about a thing. Pictures are from today Sept. 28th 2017 almost a year later see for yourself how well it has held up. Even in our extreme weather conditions. Love these tri-fold vinyl bed covers. Easy install, look good, provide protection, some security. Have used several Tyger Auto products and am very satisfied. Quality products at reasonable price points. The bed cover attaches to the truck bed inner lip at the four corners. The clamps fit over both drop in shells and spray on liners. The two rearward fasteners are adjustable for tightness but do not over tighten or you'll have a hard time trying to get it off the rail when folding back. You get a length of weather stripping for use along the box edge located below the rear window of cab. Some trucks have a gap there with the cover installed which the stripping will seal. Sturdy metal bars run the width of all three fold sections offering support and to hold shape. Two nylon straps with locking clips hold the unit in place when driving while opened. Mine has withstood the beating sun and zero degree winter temps without cracking or fading. Unknown how many years this will hold true but so far so good. I have gone through the car wash with the unit closed and no issues. Main reason I like this thing is it keeps the snow from filling up the bed in winter. It also does provide some aerodynamics although gas mileage is minimally impacted IMO. With the tail gate locked nobody has access to items you may have stored. The only real drawback to the cheaper vinyl covers is anyone with a box cutter or knife could defeat it, but that's likely a rare occurrence. That said I wouldn't leave thousands of dollars in equipment stored with this version; at that point I'd be getting the hard shell cover. For the price and purpose you can't beat these covers.

so far so good. on my 2018 gmc sierra short box i didnt even apply the weather strip to the tailgate or front of the bed, but it keeps most of the water out. i think when i drop the gate RIGHT after leaving the car wash is the only water it lets in. i have the brownbear unlimited was and i take it through maybe 3x per week...sometimes less. we will see how it lasts through winter and many carwashes. so far so good. no rips, tears, and it still fits tight. i dont remove it much. to date its probably been through the carwash 20x and its only summer but i may have shortened the lifespan significantly. mine flaps in the wind but i cannot hear it. ive done 70mph with it folded, but i made sure it was tight ive done over 70mph with it down and locked...closely reaching the triple digits i forget its there. i feel like its a great starter tonneau to see if you want one or not, or just to get through the wet and cold seasons. i also believe in buy once, cry once so even if i bought 8 of these over the next few years i wouldnt mind a really good one even if it was $2500 easy to take off and put back on solo in seconds
