Puuuurfect Kitty Condo! Very Pleased!

Very pleased with this portable kitty condo! My husband and I purchased it for our move from South Carolina to Arizona. It's spacious enough for both of my kitties to stand and sleep comfortably. The large front area made it easy to take them in and out. It's flexible, so getting it in and out of the backseat of my 2016 Mustang wasn't difficult. The great thing too is that my kitties seemed much more relaxed being together. The size is great for two full grown kitties plus it's sturdy and comes with a carrying bag and a removable mat for the inside. The mat isn't attached, so it slipped around a bit, but we bought the Velcro strips and problem was solved! I definitely recommend this product!

Exactly what I was hoping it would be

I recently took in a mother cat and her kitten. My cousin, a state away, wanted to take in the kitten and I kept the mother. But, I had to transport them, plus my original cat, for the journey (we stayed a week). My original cat is fine in his carrier, so long as I leave it open so that he can access the litterbox (otherwise he just stays in the carrier and sleeps). But I didn't want to have three cats optionally loose in my car. Three separate carriers was just too much for my car. I got this with the Portable Litter Box from the same company, and it worked brilliantly. Not only was it ideal for transport, but the cats used is as a hideout when they got to the new and unfamiliar house. I put their food and water dishes in with them and they chose to stay in there until they were comfortable. One of them did pee in the carrier, but thankfully the mat is removable and washable, and the material of the carrier itself is thin enough that it was easy to clean up. Pros: Large enough to easily fit two cats with the travel litter box (could honestly hold more for something like travelling) Easy to clean Two velcro flaps that roll down on the large side of the kennel. One to cover completely, and one more like a screen door. Separate, smaller screen-door style zipper door on the small end (this was essential for putting the litter box in and out without letting the cats out) Small packaging, folds up to be very small and stow-able Cons: I ended up using as a carrier for short distances. There is no support on bottom, and there are no handles. It obviously wasn't built for this use, but a set of handles on top would make things easier just for getting them in and out of a car or home. The zippers are easy for clever cats to figure out. I solved this by twist-tying the zippers together, but otherwise the cats would have easily gotten out while we were in the car - which could have been problematic. Wall/floor/ceiling material very thin - a determined cat's claws could shred this in an instant, were they so inclined Overall though I am very pleased with the product - I do wish there was some way to buy this along with the litter box at perhaps a discount (when you're buying both)!

Extremely safe and convenient.

Recently my boyfriend and I relocated and took a cross country road trip. I was unsure of this purchase at first but I am so so grateful I got it. She was safe the entire time. It was large enough to fit both laying room for her and her medium sized disposable nature made litter box. I just gave her a calming treat, some food and water every morning before our drive and she was perfectly fine. She was used to free roaming around the car like when she goes to her vet which is only a couple blocks away, so she meowed for the first hour each day wanting attention and freedom, but shortly after that, she was perfectly fine and fell asleep. Every gas station stop I put a container of water and food into her cat cage and she ate and drank to her desire before we pulled out. The drive would not have gone off without a hitch had I not purchased this for her. There was even a few time in San Diego traffic I was cut off and almost got into an accident and she was safe in her cage. I would buy this product for any friend traveling long distances with their furry friend.

110% Worth Purchasing

This crate solved my "cat won't stop meowing and getting sick in the car" issues. Bought it for a 17 hour drive and my yowling, barfing feline was completely chill the entire time. MAGIC Only two issues I really noticed. One is that you can strap it in with seatbelts, but if you get into a serious accident I think your furry friend will not be protected (i.e., would likely be thrown through the cloth material). The other less serious issue is that kitty got jostled around a bit inside when we were on bumpy roads. That was solved by putting the cat bed inside and a pillow (plenty of room, even with the litter box). I guess as far as the safety issue goes, I might not recommend this for short trips in a heavy traffic area where the risk of accidents is higher. But if you need something to soothe the angry beast on a relatively calm and safe long drive, you can pad it all around with pillows, giving at least a little more cushion if you have to stop short. My kitty has a heart condition and I was terribly worried about how stress would affect him, but multiple times I looked in on him to see him peacefully napping. A 180 degree change from every other time I've had him in the car. No crying, no vomiting, no stress for kitty OR humans. If they made a Kevlar version that could keep him contained in an accident that would be perfection!

After reading reviews I was very surprised by what came in the mail. The material was much thicker than expected. Made a 6 hr drive with 2 cats and it worked perfectly. My one cat likes to just sit in it for fun!

Great little house when I travel in the RV with the cats. You can't really carry them around in it. It is a good cat condo but you still need a carrier to move them from place to place.

FAT CAT FRIENDLY!

My cats absolutely love this tent! First off it's cute and very roomy. I used it for a 10hr car ride when moving and both of my fat cats loved it! It even had room for a biodegradable litter box. Also very easy to fold flat and store anywhere. Now I use it at home, where the cats like to sleep. I would highly recommend buying!

Beautiful carrier, be mindful of extra pushy cats

The thing about this carrier is, 30 minutes into a 20 hour trip both my cats managed to escape out of it. It was beautifully built and very spacious for 2 cats, even with a litter box they had enough room to walk fully upright and move around. Having access to the inside from the side window was incredibly helpful for changing litter and managing their food and water. The carrier worked perfectly and as intended until my larger cat managed to push his fat head through the hole between the 2 zippers and open it up, and once he knew how, there was no stopping him. My advice for this carrier; have some sort of tie or lock to keep the zippers together to avoid a repeat of my Great Cat Escape of 2016.

My cat's new lair

I recently purchased this for a 14 hour car trip with our cat. We have had this for about a week and a half, and I have set it up in our house for her to get used to since she does not travel well (high anxiety). She loves it!! It's very spacious (enough space to fit a small cat box and for her to lie down), and she hides in it, sits in it, and plays in it. She's very comfortable in it, and hope it will make traveling easier for her and make her feel safe while traveling. I love the fact that it folds up compactly, making it easy to store. The material should make it easy to wipe clean and wash the liner mat on delicate cycle (I'm hoping). I will update the review after traveling with her, but so far, we are very happy with our purchase!
