good and bad
After reading the reviews, good and bad, I learned to be gentle with the hold down strap so as not to strip the plastic nub off the bar. I also knew to make sure the legs were fully locked in- it is easy to think they are fully extended when they are not- so this made the stand sturdy. It takes up very little room, and for the price I can't complain about workmanship. It does its job of holding my guitar off the floor in a corner. Working out good for an inexpensive, basic stand.

Very lightweight, but stable.
Rubber front neck lock broke, but now use a no-metal black thick elastic hair tie looped over both arms and skooshed tight to the back which holds the fingerboard more solidly to the stand than the factory method did.

A fine stand.
This stand works perfectly fine if you put it together correctly, and look it over before. Someone left a poor review because he said he had to drill a hole to get the screw through to the upright post. No you don't want to do that. If you look at the first picture I attached you can see there is a plastic liner inside the post hole. This is there so you don't scratch the post when you insert it and tighten the screw. Put the post in the hole and tighten the screw. This will push the plastic liner against the post and hold it quite securely. This is the same procedure for both lower and upper screw holes. Another reviewer posted a poor review with a picture of the stand all twisted sideways. Well if you turned the top support and actually put an instrument on the stand it would be fine. Some other have commented that the lower cradle is loose. Well of course it is loose. Not all instruments have the same shape on the bottom end. The cradle swivels to accommodate different shapes. I have attached pictures with my 5 string bass on this stand. That is a fairly heavy instrument and it is perfectly safe on this stand. Mine did come with directions which were not really necessary. It is only two screws and put the cradle post through the hole. Just look at the picture. IMHO the poor reviews are not justified. I would recommend this stand to everyone. You can't beat the price and it is quite sturdy.

Best Value Stationary stand!
so good for the price Now after you ensemble it, you will be confused because it doesn't look straight, but you have to twice it to put it to place! Not really portable, but great if you need a stationary stand... which is what I usually need!

Great Stand, great price!
This was a great deal for this guitar stand. Upon arrival this afternoon, I put it together in about 5 minutes, and my guitar looks great sitting on it! I would definitely purchase from this seller again. I don't have to worry about my guitar falling over, leaning it up against the wall. the last guitar stand I had, which I passed on to my granddaughter, did not have the cushioning around the neck and bottom. I really like that extra feature.

Worth the money..
Need sturdy cheap guitar stands with no bells or whistles or WiFi or USB cables? Get these, they do the job if you need them just for your studio or home. Don't know if they will stand up to stage handling and don't care. I have a lot of guitars and basses and they all sit tall & pretty on these stands. Good quality. These will outlast me.

Great Stand: Far From Ground, Sturdy, Adjustable
The stand looks great and works well. The initial construction was a little confusing, but the pieces fit well together and it stands sturdy. I was surprised at how tall the guitar sits above the ground (roughly 8" from ground to base support) but that can be a good thing for some. I just have a larger guitar The only negative comment to make would be that the caps at the top that support the neck can pop out when messing with the strap, but those can be put back in place.

Two for one, can’t beat it
Very happy with this purchase. It was not as expensive as some others, and I worried it would be flimsy. It’s not! Be careful with the enclosure piece though. I did rip one by mistake, but it somehow still clips on just fine.

Worth the asking price for what it does.
Perfect, works well and holds the guitar up, at first it seemed to tip easy but as long as you have it grounded right it won't tip easy either, just mess with the bottom and top holders until the guitar is secure.
