Great desktop storage box!

This storage drawer box is great!!! Each of the 3 drawers are identical in size and can hold 46 Prismacolor pencils each for a total of 138 pencils. It also is designed to fit a great number of pastels and can also store your Copic markers. You decide! See pictures!

Great for art supplies even pastel chalks.

I am storing pastels in this box and they are perfect, even for Terry Ludwig blocks. No foam lining ....not a problem just lined with paper towels and easily cleaned.

You couldn't make it yourself for this price

My husband had been talking about making me some pencil holders, but you couldn't make it for this price. They are well made and fit my studio area perfectly. There is only a light spray coat of finish on these drawers so my husband added a coat of varnish to the fronts of the drawers. I just didn't want to stain them from pigment on my fingers but it didn't add to how the drawers open or close. That was purely cosmetic.

Good storage alternative.

This is the third one I've purchased but the first one with the 3 drawers. I use them to organize my pastels. It can be used to organize all sorts of items: pencils, pens, etc. Each drawer is divided into sections so organizing is easy and keeps coming items separate if organizing by color or implement type. Its about the size of a laptop and doesn't take up too much space. I would recommend this item if looking for an alternative to storing items neatly away in an art studio or craft room. It can also be painted or stained to match your decor.

I have an insane amount of watch bands and spare tools and parts. This organizes by size and everything perfectly.

Just right for pencils and accessories

I purchased these drawers to hold my graphite, charcoal and pastel pencils in addition to erasers and other miscellaneous supplies. They are just the right size, with the bottom drawer having no dividers, so a triangle, small sharpeners and even an electric eraser fit inside. They have a light finish on the outside and a couple of rails on the top so you can stack another set or if you put stuff there it won't roll off (at least the front or back). The drawers on the one I received worked smoothly and didn't open any extra drawers, despite what other reviewers have noted. I bought the small (3 drawer) model, but it is easy to expand by buying another one to stack on top if I need more drawers.

Great for stuffing all your colouring things in.

Perfect if the four drawer isn't available. Perfect if you only need three drawers. I have five four drawers and two three drawers and they hold all my colouring doodads. :-) Only thing... get a bar of candle wax and wax up the sides of the drawers themselves. Helps greatly with pulling out and pushing in.

Versatile and Durable

I actually use this as a jewelry box. I make a lot of pendants and this box sits nicely on my dresser and is perfect for jewelry storage.

Perfect for the price and for coloring supplies

I was nervous due to other reviews but decided what the heck. Can’t beat it for the price!! I store my colored pencils, markers. Etc in this and its PERFECT for me. Wish At the time I had the extra cash I would have bought 2!!

drawers move smoothly and hold a lot

Used this for watercolor pencils and the bottom drawer is slightly larger, so used for some small tubes of watercolor and brushes. Holds everything I need; makes materials easy to access.
