Cheap and does the job. I bought a top of the line COP from the auto parts store which cost as much as 8 of these. That one died and these are still in use. I did pull one off and the spring stretched out of it. I used it on my v10 excursion, so I had to buy 2, and had spare to replace one that broke when changing the spark plug.

Initially sceptical of quality due to low price. Bought them anyway. Inspected them and they seemed to be very good quality. Installed them and everything is working great, now we'll see how they hold up over the long term. I'll keep you posted if anything should change. That was two years and 18000 miles ago. My no 5 cylinder started skipping (all others coil paks are still running fine) and code showed it to be the coil-pak. I just now purchased a second set. I am very well pleased. I paid 28.99 for the complete set. My local auto parts store wanted 39.00 to 58.00 EACH. SInce it's a very easy fix to install these, I'm satisfied that they did as well as they did. I have a 2003 Explorer Eddie Bauer w/ a 4.6 V-8 engine.

Great coils for the price. I replaced the coils on my 2000 Ford F-150 in May of 2015 and instantly seen results in the trucks pick up and gas consumption. I recently had the truck tested at AutoZone and all the coils are still firing. Very satisfied!

Update 3/15/2017 ECCPP offered to send me a free set of these coils after I returned my last ones for the reasons below to test them out and give them a chance. I took some pictures this time so I could show the difference. The all black coil is the failed OE coil from Ford. The white and gray is from Autozone and the Black and Grey is from O'Reilly Auto Parts. I had recently replaced 2 coils with 2 different aftermarkets and they were working perfectly but a few more went out so these seems like the perfect chance to review these. Although they still don't address the issue of the boot springs being too small to fit over the spark plug tip which is very obvious in the picture, they are the 2nd from the left, they appeared to install OK. Since the spring doesn't fit over the plug they do have a little bounce-back when trying to place them in and don't fully seat until you tighten them down with the bolt. The connectors seems to fit just fine and lock into place like they should. All-in-all for the price you definitely can't go wrong with them. I will update this down the road (set a reminder in my phone calendar) and remove them in 6 months to see how they are holding up to the heat and stress. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As others have stated the springs will not fit over the plug tip correctly, you can still install them and they will work fine for a while but this will cause the spring to melt eventually. Will be sending these back and going with OEM.

Installed these in my 2003 Explorer Limited V8. If it was running OK but didn't realize the improvement until we installed these. WOW!!! What an improvement in idling in exhilaration! Before installation the truck ran fairly well. But the change in performance afterwards was amazing, silky smooth running engine and greater acceleration. I would recommend these to anyone with a 15-year-old Explorer.

Can quickly both in the same box plugs and coil pack ship from Amazon 8 coil packs were included definitely worth the price everything seems to be running fine now have other problems number 4 spark plug is the worst Ford F-250 number 4 spark plug is the worst don't know what Ford was thinking but is not the designer spot of the coil packs they work great

FIXED! FIXED! FIXED! 1999 Marquis 4.6L gradually developed awful stumble, knocking, and had no guts. First time I saw these symptoms at 110k installing new plugs (first ever) fixed this symptom. On recurrence, I knew it was again likely ignition-related. I researched, and coil-on-plug was fingered as the likely culprit. Replaced OEM COP's with these. INSTANT MIRACLE CURE! No clue how these can be so cheap but work great. Easy replacement on Marquis with its gimungous engine bay, so I don't even mind if these don't last forever. Motorcraft currently $232.72 for 8, I saved $194.73! I bought this old cop-and-taxi style vehicle to save money (and work on it myself) so this cheap fix made me feel like a genius.

I got them in a timely manor. I installed them with a manifold replacement. They work just fine so far. I have not been able to fully test them due to my Town Car needs multiple repairs. I can say that they work just fine and without problems as I have been starting and running the car with limited to minimal driving due to a lean condition (a weak fuel delivery problem has been diagnosed as the core catalyst of my cars drive ability problem) . I am working on the car and will report back on the coils performance and longevity in the near future as I get the car back up to regular operating condition. Thank you!

When the cost of motorcraft coils was going to exceed what I paid for my work van (5.4 e-series) I looked for another way. I am always hesitant about cheap coils but after a year and 10k miles these haven’t missed a beat. Haven’t done any hot weather towing though which is typically when my vehicles kill electrical parts (coils, injectors, sensors). I will warn the diy mechanics out there that this job isn’t easy, the and not one that I’d want to tackle by the roadside. Be safe and use your judgment. If I have any failures I plan to update this review.

Was having a misfire in cylinder #3 and found out it was a bad coil pack. The price for one from motor craft was about the same as this whole set. I read the reviews and saw what people were saying on forums so I decided to try these out. Swapped 'em in and haven't had a problem since. They work good and its been a little over a month now. I'll update my review if I run into any problems.
