Very Versatile Product

I purchased the Midland 75-822 Portable Radio as the first CB radio I have owned in over 20 years. I was pleased with the transmit and receive capibility of the Midland 75-822 portable unit as compared to previous CB transceivers that I have owned. The variable battery configurations are are definite plus. The plactic storage case offered in association with the radio was a must for my application. Perfect size, easy use and portable.

So far it works perfectly, it’s a CB they’ve been around for awhile not a lot to mess up on. Great for portability and small spaces like a jeep.

Will it stand the test of time?

The Midland 75-822 is a test of my learning ability as it has features more advanced than I am use to finding in a small portable radio. I would like to bring back the good old days when thing were made of more durable material as plastic heavy or not make it feel more like a toy than product made for adults but plastic is now what makes the world go around. It remains to be seen if this radio will stand the test of time. It does if fact offer the choice of a permanent installation or a temporary set up.

Great product

Great little product. I do Entertainment Transportation and need my hand held radio for helping to guide trucks in and out and it works great.

I needed to get this for a motorcycle group ride ...

I needed to get this for a motorcycle group ride I was going on. I had a Bluetooth device but the rest of the riders had CB units. So I got this and paired it with the Sena SR10-10 Bluetooth Adapter for Two-Way Radios or Mobile Phones, and it worked really well. There was one more part that I had to buy to make it all work but in the end it worked really well.

Outstanding functionality and value.

Wanted a portable CB that I could store under the seat just for emergencies. This is the right one. Works great and easy to set up.

I read reviews an heard stellar reviews, so i purchased 2 radios, i didnt read the the lesser ones, defaulted to only the good ones, after recieving along with my lil wil, it really is something i would not have ordered had i read the other ratings. Thats why i posted this in the 5 star category an would give a ought

Great CB Radio

Great handheld CB. Originally I had bought a mounting CB but due to space in my vehicle I went w/this handheld and am so glad. Easy to use, works great, can unplug it and pack it away when I don't need to use it.

Works well, great quality product.

Have used it several times in the woods on trail rides, and it worked great. The "noise cancelation" worked about as good as the last CB I owned way back in the eighties. Still had to mess with the squelch from time to time. Other than that, great product.

Exactly as described

Seems to work fine; no problems. Can't get much distance with the rubber duck antenna but that's' to be expected.
