This product is amazing! My plants look great! The critters don't eat my plants, the rain gets through and sun is let in but it is filtered sun so the plants don't "bake!" I stand by this product 100%!!!

This product kept my veggies & herbs from freezing in December & January during 6+ weeks of very cold temps in South Carolina. Also, it kept potted flowers and ferns OK on the patio and front porch. It would be great to use to wrap fruit trees & bushes during those early Feb & Mar cold snaps.

I've never used these before and bought for purpose of hiding my strawberry plants for dang deer. Worked perfectly AND to my amazement when I lifted it to check on my plants this week it was notably warmer inside and my poor little plants chewed off by deer had done not only a total recovery but were HUGE and already had flowers all over them way ahead of schedule. Ordering more for my pepper and tomato plants so I can plant earlier.

This fabric along with metal hoop supports covered my young plants after they were installed this past spring. The protection from direct sunlight enabled the plants to acclimate without burning...they did not get set back by sun damage. Using the fabric for weeks after acclimation, protects the young growing plants from a variety of spring and early summer insects reducing the need for treatment and aiding goals to keep the garden organic. Great product. This recent purchase is in preparation for next year. I have been using the fabric for several seasons now and it holds up really well. I expect to get at least three seasons of use before ‘retiring’ it for new fabric. A great product for all vegetable gardens. Eventually, the growing plants outgrow the fabric cover and I store it for next year.

Even though this is lightweight, it provided enough insulation to get my plants through some seriously wacky weather. When I pulled the fabric up after the storm, a bunch of new plants had even come up!

I didn't expect much- based on the price but I was wrong! My garden has survived the first cold snap - where temperatures dropped into the high 20's! I have used other products previously but this one allows sunshine and rain through therefore acting as a frost barrier only. Brilliant! Will definitely buy when needed again; it seems sturdy enough to take off and on as the weather demands and will likely last more than one season. I do recommend rocks or bricks to hold the fabric down, if you clip or pin it it may tear and not last as long.

So far so good. I'm using this over wire hoops and there is enough material here for much more garden than I have, but that means I have extra in case what I am using tears. The winter temps where I live are usually 30 to 50 degrees F in the daytime and 20 to 30 degrees F overnight, so this seems to be perfect for growing a winter garden. When I put my hand inside the covered beds, I can feel that the temperature inside is higher than the air temp outside the bed. After I put this onto my beds in mid-December, it was only a week or so before my spinach, lettuce, kale and radishes appeared to be growing much faster than they did before I covered the beds.

This is a very lightweight (summerweight) plant cover, so you do have to handle it carefully to avoid tearing. But it needs to be thin so that it does not trap heat and also lets most of the sun through to the plants. The Agribon brand seems very good quality, and I have reused the fabric for several growing seasons. One of my main uses for this is to cover fruit trees to keep the birds, squirrels, and rats from stealing my plums, apricots, peaches, and apples. I am finding that it works better than bird netting. The critters can see through the bird netting and will keep trying to get through to the fruit, sometimes biting through the netting to fruit they can reach, other times chewing through small branches they can reach, to knock them to the ground where they can push the netting up close and reach the fallen fruit. With the Agribon cover, they can't see the fruit and leave the trees alone more. I get a much better harvest. Please note that unlike with netting, the bees cannot get through to pollinate, so don't cover plants that need pollination by insects, or don't cover them until after they have set fruit.

I'm using this material (doubled up) as a cover for a cold frame, and it is working beautifully. It seems to be holding up very well, too, although this is my first season I've used it, having stapled it on my cold frame only a couple months ago.

Have used these for a couple years. My seedlings grow better, and it offers good protection from light frost. Good for keeping out cabbage moths and such, but even one or two nights without a cover will result in caterpillars. Yes, it will tear a bit in a strong wind when I hold it down with bricks with sharp edges. No problem if I use boards, and put a brick on top of each board (if windy). What works best for me is to staple one end to a 1x3 inch board, so I can roll it up to store over the winter. That also holds one end down, making it easier to spread out in a breeze.
