Couldnt Be More Satisfied

I have 5 lights that i regularly have on auto-timers. Over the past 20 years ive bought more than a dozen different brands and styles of timers for those lights. I always write the install date onto each timer when i put it into use and i seem to get about 2 years out of the timers with the exception of this particular (and only this particular) Intermatic timer. The one im replacing right now with this one was bought 11 years ago! I have one other Intermatic just like this one and i checked the date on it and it is 9 years old and working fine. All the others (some that are even Intermatic timers of a different style) dont even come close to the longivity of this particular timer. Going forward, i wont be buying any other timer because im certain these are the best I can get for my money.

Solid Product & Easy to Use!

Intermatic has been making plug in timers ever since I can remember. But, they’ve updated and improved them. The little time of day window is the best feature of this timer. With the old ones, I used to get it turned around which was a.m. and p.m. No more! They’ve shaded half the wheel grey. In the time of day window, you no longer have to guess what time of day it is, or what half of the day you are presetting for, it is clearly visible. Four trip switches are removable, two that turn on and two shut offs, allowing you to program within 15 minute segments. Want your lights on at 6 am and off again at 7:30 and for them to come on at 7:30 pm and off again at 11? With this gadget, you have it covered. Love waking up to fresh brewed coffee but don’t have a fancy coffee maker? This device turns your pot on AND off at the power source. Need your phone, kindle or tablet to charge, not overcharge? Extremely Reliable, But Not as Precise as Digital

I would not recommend this for precise timing (e.g., where a light needed to come on at exactly 5:45) because the slots and pins are not very precise. But this works perfectly for my aquarium, as the duration of the lighting is more important than the start and end times. It is accurate within the half-hour, but anything more precise would be a bit difficult to set.

Great Grow Light Timer

I use this for a grow light and it is working great. I only used one red and one green. To set the timer I inserted a red triper at 10:00 PM and a green tripper at 10:00 AM and then turned the dial to tell it what time it currently was, I haven't touched is since. Plant gets 12 hours of light and 12 dark which I need for flowering. I used mine for 8 years and finally had to replace it.

I bought this one to replace the one I already had, but wore out. I used the one I had for over 8 years and it worked great. I set it to go off when I would start my day each morning and set it go off in the evening, so I wouldn't walk into a dark apartment, but also for security purposes. At the end of the 8 years, the gear at the top that turns it on and off had worn down and no longer connected with the center gear. But it lasted a lot longer than the 5 year warranty and I could not be happier. Here's to another 8 years of use.

Intermatic TN111K Timer

Mine has been going about a week now and checked it and is keeping perfect time and all works as it should be. With everything getting so complicated these days, I love the simplicity of what many are calling this old style type timer. You don't have to be a Rocket Scientist to figure it out, Hehe - Works great - 5 Stars across the board from me anyways!

A little confusing at first you just have to figure which pins red/green turn the device on and off because they have different “switch flick points” but once you realise what goes were it works well and functions as it should.

does what I need and then some

Purchased a timer for a lamp but every time I turned the lamp on the timer shut off and the lamp would stay on until I set it back to the timer. This timer has a switch to turn on the lamp and you do not have to turn the timer back on.

Works like a charm

I love this. I am not home a lot and I can't have my house totally dark. I use this to have lamps lit in different rooms. It works like a charm. Sometimes even shocks me when I'm home and it goes on. It has a switch you can turn it off if you are home.
