Perfect for kids

Perfect for a house with children who would leave the fan on for hours !! And you have to hold the the button for about 3 seconds to activate the "hold" option , I didn't teach the kids that so they can't possibly leave it on for hours

Inexpensive energy saver.

I've used these in various applications but, particularly, to control bathroom fans. Push the button after doing your business or taking a shower and the fan runs only as long as needed to clear humidity or... well... you know. The fan runs only as long as needed. I've also used the longer-running version in my garage to shut off the lights if I forget. These are well built timers that use a relay for switching the load. As a result they are fully compatible with any load within their rating

this was easy to install. Works great. I love not having to listen to the fan going all day because someone forgot to turn it off!

Wanted a timer for the bathroom fan but didn't want one an old style spring would timer that makes a clicking sound. I like Intermatic timers because they offer different models that have various preset times. I like the operation. LED lights give indication how much time is set. After it times off, there is no LED lit. I like that. Other makers have and red LED still lit to indicate it is off..
