First this is a $10 bag, so comparing to a $50 bag isn't quite rational. that being said this is a good bag. Construction consists of a heavy outer layer, and smooth nylon liner with padding in between. Padding is pretty minimal and ends are not padded. The zipper works, Single full length and is what I would call medium duty. One big plus is that the dimensions are exactly as listed. Has handles and shoulder strap. both are un-padded and sewn in place. Also has a good size pocket. This is an adequate bag with all the right features, and for $10. If you want one with better padding , removal shoulder strap. padded handles and a double heavy duty zipper good luck, seems not to exist.

EXTREMELY higher quality than I was expecting. I bought two for my bigger than average Pearstone and Manfrotto tripods. The quality is so good, in fact, that after having received them and stored my tripods in them, my wife came and asked me why I bought two new tripods. She saw the bags, unzipped them, and assumed that I had ordered entirely new (and identical) tripods to my existing ones since the bags were obviously of equal quality to those brands.

Perfect in every way. I needed a new case for my retractable banner. The one that came with the banner was cheap and ripped after using it a few times. This one is well built, heavy duty and I think it will last a very long time.

I'm just getting my feet wet in wedding photography and I needed something to lug all my umbrellas and stands around from site to site. This is PERFECT. It is solidly built, the material reminds me of a canvas type material. The type they make suitcases out of. The zipper opens and closes smoothly, and the little pouch on the outside is a perfect spot for all my attachments for my stands. It freed up a lot of room in my camera bag and made it easier to carry everything. The only thing I didn't like was that the shoulder strap isn't adjustable. You get what you pay for, I guess. Still a great bang for your buck. Very pleased.

This case holds it all.... 2 - 3 standard light stands.. 1 boom with counter weights.... all my 6 folded umbrellas and soft boxes... could even place three speed lights in there if needed. Take it all and just go to where you need to shoot next. This case fits more then I thought it would so I rated this five stars... Such a great deal for hauling around your light kit. It's all in one bag. Glad I got this case... Love it.. The Best Case is the one that everything fits into.... That's what this case is... Thank you guys for being so prompt with my order and shipping it so fast.

I ordered this light stand/tripod carry bag to carry multiple light stands and it works perfectly. It actually fits 2 small light stands AND a tripod to reduce the number of individual things to have to carry in to a gig. Has a shoulder strap as well as handles to carry easily. Great price, too!

Couldn't be happier with this product. The tripod is safely encased, fitting exactly right. It doesn't wiggle around within the bag, but goes it and out fairly easily. The carry straps were an unexpected bonus. There are two straps systems - for use when carrying it in your hand (like a briefcase) and a shoulder strap when you need your hands for other equipment. Nicely done!

For ten bucks, you do get a little more than you pay for. The dimension are pretty close to the advertised 36x5x5. Since the zipper doesn't continue through the end-caps, however, it would not be ideal for girthy items longer than 34". The interior is a paper-y sounding kind of nylon with a very, very, very thin foam padding. The exterior material seems reasonably durable, but the stitching is a bit sparse. Remember, this is ten bucks - it's not going to provide optimal protection or be comfortable for a long hike. If your primary goal, however, is to have a convenient bag for storing your tripod and accessories, with occasional on-location mobility, then this seems to be a good value. Pros - Decent exterior material Lightweight Well sized for a proper video tripod Dirt Cheap Cons - Uncomfortable, non adjustable, non removable shoulder strap and handles Sparse stitching Limited padding PS - If this review helped, or if you're just bored and enjoy clicking things - could I trouble you for a "Yes" vote below?

Reviewing: Neewer 36"x5"x5" Heavy Duty Bag ------ It's perfect for carrying around a couple of light stands and tripods. Seem sturdy enough to carry no more than three items within the bag. I currently have two lightweight light stands, and a tripod. And I still have room for cables and other miscellaneous items within the bag. I don't think it's meant for heavy-duty stuff but works perfect for light stuff. The vinyl seems sturdy enough with a bit of cushioning in the inside. Handles are great and allow to distribute the weight evenly. It also has a fixed shoulder strap.

The NEEWER 36" Light Stand Bag is a plain jane affair--looks like a budget gym bag--but it holds my two Manfrotto 1052BAC stands and Westcott umbrellas like a champ. Plus, room in the stash pocket for my Manfrotto 026 umbrella brackets. Unfortunately, the zipper stops a couple inches from the ends, so I have to load the base of the 34" stand first and stretch the bag as I tuck in the end. This bag is made of medium duty luggage grade nylon with smooth nylon lining. Thin padding is sandwiched between the lining and exterior fabric. I'm surprised it has any lining at all considering it's competing with BigMac prices! The padding is enough to protect your gear from light bumps and scrapes, but don't expect it to survive a trip as checked baggage. The shoulder strap is on the thin and short side. However, I normally use the handle so no biggie. All in all this bag is inexpensive, functional and surprisingly decent in construction. I wouldn't hesitate buying another Neewer bag if needed.
