I paid for these with my own money. I am not being paid to review them. I purchased them for my 2003 Dodge Neon SXT as I needed to change my front brakes. I only seen two reviews for this set and was skeptical as usually products with low amount of reviews are sometimes a gift or sometimes a curse. Well, let me tell you, these are 100% a gift. My brakes were semi-metallic beforehand with a smooth rotor. They provided really good stopping power but at some point before me changing them, I got the dreaded glaze effect and lost a lot of stopping power. As the brakes were close to end of life anyway and I had damaged rotors, I decided to look for some new ones. I searched for almost two whole days and came across this crazy deal. I was skeptical particularly because of the number of reviews but also because of the ceramic pads. I heard horror stories of loss of braking power and though that at least if it's really bad, I can just change to semi-metallic afterwards and correct the issue. Was I ever wrong to think twice about this setup. The drilled and slotted rotors and these pads are simply amazing. I noticed a slight less braking power untill these pads got worn in. Within minutes, I was stopping on a dime! No vibrating, no screeching, no whistling...nothing! Just pure stopping at my command. If you plan on getting a setup for your neon, go with these. You won't regret it one bit!
