Works perfectly. I don't know why some complained about the handle breaking off. It's fine unless you try to cook a tennis ball or something and put excessive pressure on it. Perfect waffles!

I bought this as a gift and am about to buy one for myself. I'm very picky about my waffles so I've owned several waffle makers this one is amazing! It produces great waffles it's easy to clean and even if you over pour your batter it has an easy to clean tray at the bottom that catches it all.

love this waffle maker we use it almost daily being my husband loves waffles. works great cleans up easy

I love this waffle iron!!!!!! Just got it, and use it all weekn with the husband, and grandkids.....I used the highest setting cause the whole FAMILY love them kinda crispy!!!! And they were just perfect. I did have to use a liltte cooking spray, but not much....I would spray the first one, then cook 2 more with no spray. The waffle batter calls for oil during preparation, and Im sure that helps to not stick as much. Im gonna PURCHASE one for each of my 5 daughters coming up to the holidays to give as gifts.

This is an awesome machine!...love the color as well...I make waffles and freeze them...I also fry bacon in it, sometimes I put the cooked bacon on top of the batter and bake it right into the waffle, so yummy!...clean up is a bit of a challenge, hard to get it washed out without getting parts wet that are not suppose to have water...be sure to look up ideas of what you can cook in a waffle iron on Pinterest, it is endless!

I love this waffle maker! I have made egg free waffles and also some potato waffles using a hashbrowns carton, which I prepared per instructions, added seasoning, and blended and simply put in the waffle maker, and they turned out great and crispy! I love the fact that you don't need to use any oil. The ceramic plates stay clean. Just be sure to turn the dial so that it is in fact warm before adding the batter. I usually keep the dial on medium and add the batter. I have used bisquick mix and it works great! Also, depending how much your batter raises, be sure to start off filling only halfway, or else it will spill over the sides. :) They cook very quickly too!

I've only used it a few times but it works better than any waffle iron I've ever had. The handle catches a little when turning because it has a switch in there, but turn it gingerly and you won't have a problem. It does require the lid to close completely to turn it, so don't expect to be grilling or sorts of stuff in here. Just make waffles. Turn up the heat, the lower setting barely cooks it. I think it's for things that need a longer cooking time. I'm contemplating making a batter/dough more akin to cinnamon rolls but I won't try to press the lid down and turn it, that's asking for trouble in my opinion. cons: buttering the surface is difficult because it is perfectly smooth and heats quickly so it becomes nearly frictionless

A wonderful non-stick waffle maker with healthy ceramic coating and no Teflon. If you read other reviews, you will realize that some people complain this Appliance is a little flimsy. This is true, but if you are careful, it will last long enough for you to appreciate it.

I threw away the 1st waffle as instructed and the second waffle looked a bit pale, so the 3rd waffle was cooked on the max setting and came out just the way I like it. I picked this size waffle maker so I could freeze them and reheat in my toaster but I am rethinking that as it doesn't take long just to make a fresh waffle. It heated quickly and I followed the directions and it all came out fine. The only reason I made this purchase was because I stayed at a hotel and they had waffle makers on the breakfast buffet. Those machines are much heavier duty than this but this is easy to store. I will update this review (and star rating) when I have used it a few more times. One note about recipes in the little booklet: I am not separating the eggs. Life's too short and it worked fine without being all that fussy. Also, a 1/4 tsp of almond extract makes them taste even better. Update: I froze some overnight then put them in the toaster today. They came out fine! Not as awesome as fresh made of course, but they were better than name brand frozen waffles from the store. Update to the update: refrigerating works just fine as well, if you plan to use them up quickly. As I start each cycle I set my own timer for 2 minutes. That way if I get distracted there is still an audible reminder to check.

Excellent for the money. A little difficult to clean but others stated that as well. I can see where overuse may have an effect so if you make waffles daily for 4 kids you may want to look into a more robust waffle maker but a few times a week is OK. Cooks pretty well evenly. BTW - Look at the Oster pans. They are great as well.
