Awesome blade - just keeps cutting and cutting clean, crisp, detailed cuts. I bought a second one to keep on hand when this one wears out, but it's going strong - I'm kind of amazed at how well it cuts on so many types of papers and such, and at how long it has lasted!

Great blade for everyday cutting on Explore Air 1

I purchased this to replace the original blade on my cricut explore air 1. Really easy to install. I punched the blade through a balled up piece of foil to sharpen blade some more. Works like a charm. Also just an fyi, when making intricate cuts, settings should be on washi tape so that vinyl doesnt rip and lift during the cut.

However after finally figuring it out the replacement was not only easy but effective blades are excellent quality

The Cricut German carbide blade is awesome. Lasts for months without wearing out, and I cut a lot! Very precise and just what I would expect it to be.

New packaging and wording...

I believe this is the same German blade we are used to, but the packaging is different, and the name, it’s now called the premium fine point blade. The cap is now white, but on the back it does say it is a long lasting German carbide blade. I can’t find any confirmation on cricut website, But it seems to be the same one. And I looked it up on other crafting websites and it shows this blade, so I’m guessing this is just newer packaging but the same blade we are used to.
