Worked Like A Charm

This worked exactly like it said it would. I personally did not notice a difference in sound quality loss when 2 individual powered devices were connected. I connected 2 sets of powered Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers with same volume level and both had exact same quality in my ears. Tested on 2 different branded earphones and worked fine. Tested the same devices, same method on the Metal Silver as well. No difference. (I had ordered both the Metal Silver and Metal Black). The durability and material quality seemed good enough to last long. It doesn't feel as if it was made from cheap materials. The review may change as time passes by. Will keep posted if anything changes. Personal Note: What I have noticed is that most of these audio splitter cables seems like it was "designed" for devices that already have an independent sound control. Without it, you're solely relying on the volume control of main device which I personally think can reduce the volume level to the output devices connected. At least that's what I have personally experienced. Again, my review is based on personal experience with item(s) received. I am not an audiophile to provide professional but only personal feedback. :)

Works and sounds great

I'm using this on a computer to split the signal between desktop speakers and a subwoofer. I first had bought a splitter from a chain store that cost over double of this U-Green cable. I could hear some crackling and distortion occasionally, so I knew the quality was bad. I decided to replace that lousy splitter with this cable from U-Green, as a previous U-Green cable that I bought was very good. This splitter did the trick and became invisible, in that there is no sound difference with or without the splitter. The U-Green cables seem to be very good quality and at a very reasonable price. The gold-plated connectors are solid and make a firm connection, plus they sound good. Recommended.

Well-built, good sound quality

I bought this splitter so I could run headphones and powered, external speakers from the rear jack of my PC at the same time. The headphones connected to the jack on the speakers caused the headphones to have a lot of static. I wanted the ability to go back and forth from my speakers to my headphones without having to plug/unplug the headphones in the front jack because the plug is starting to wear out. I can just turn off the speakers when I use the headphones and leave both plugged in all the time. Connected to the splitter, the headphones have no static at all. Sound comes through both sides of both the headphones and speakers. I'm not sure how well the wires on the splitter would hold up if they were being moved around a lot with a laptop, tablet, or phone, but since they are not going to be moving around I won't have to worry about that. The plugs on the speakers and headphones snap firmly into place, and the plug on the splitter snaps firmly into the jack on my computer.

Great product. Works exactly as expected.

Have used this several times on a plane. When I travel with someone and we want to watch a video on a phone or laptop this is a great device to have, so we can each wear a full set of headphones and hear the device. For fancier headphones that also have controls, they won't work with this (you will need to control play/pause, volume, etc. on the device itself). The quality of the sound seemed fine to me, but then again I'm not picky. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great Y Splitter at a Good Price

It's amazing how many BAD reviews there are for something as simply as a headphone splitter! But I have to say this one from Ugreen works! It was shipped immediately, and arrived on a SUNDAY with Amazon Prime FREE 2-day shipping. You just can't beat that. Some of the other products simply split the audio so that one side got all of one channel and the other side got all of the other channel. NOT the case with the Ugreen splitter! It is perfect stereo in BOTH jacks! I wholeheartedly recommend this device. At the low price you can't go wrong.

Works well for its intended purpose

I needed a splitter because the one I was using was not making a good connection and it wasn't giving me that much flexibility. So I bought this one to extend the cable little bit so it does not bind I have no problems with connection and it works like it should. I use it to split the output of the audio to my headset and my speakers depending on what I use when. I actually have an extension cable from the headset that plugs into one end of these and the speakers go into the other when I plug in the headset the volume of the speakers drops a little bit but that's normal because now I'm supplying audio to both the speakers and the headset once I disconnect the headset when I don't use it it works just fine without issues. For me it works because I don't have to disconnect the speakers and connect the headset each time I want to use the headset this way I have the extension on top of the desk connected to the splitter and I do it on a as-needed basis

I purchased this so my boyfriend and I would not have to share headphones on a long plane ride overseas in case we wanted to watch a movie. These allowed us to watch the same movie on one device resulting in taking less electronics with us on our trip. They are super easy to use and the sound quality was great! They definitely did what I needed them to do! I definitely recommend these, especially if your traveling with someone!

Better sound, as well as enough length and flexibility to prevent disconnecting

This allows my spouse and I to listen to music together on the same device. I notice that the sound is better than our last splitter, and this one doesn't make the volume go lower when two headphones are in versus when one is connected. Beyond sounding great, there's enough length and flexibility to this that it doesn't matter how oddly one of our headphone cords might get angled, it handles it. A great product overall!

Exceptional build quality and audio quality...I could not be happier

Excellent build quality and audio quality. Feels very professional, not inexpensive. I use it to split the signal coming out of a Tascam DR-10sg so I can monitor the signal with headphones AND send the signal to the input of a Canon HF-S21 camcorder at the same time. I thought that Y-ing the signal might not work or would reduce the level or audio quality, but neither of those happened. The signal is pristine and I couldn't be happier with the Ugreen splitter cable. FWIW, I am a global audio/video professional with a t-o-n of gear and a t-o-n of experience. I've bought a lot of junk in my decades in the industry, but the Ugreen splitter hits on all cylinders and I recommend it heartily.
