I have used this type of sock keeper for over 20 years. These are softer plastic which don't snag fibers and seem to last longer in multiple washes. It is really nice to not have to SORT socks after the wash!

These are great. and work just as needed. They keep the socks together, don't harm the socks, and they still get dry. They seem like good enough quality to last a while. Not sure how long, but I won't hesitate to buy more when needed.

The clips are absolute godsend and have saved countless socks from losing their pairs! Works great in washer and dryer and only falls off if I didn't put them on properly (which maybe happens 1 out of 100 times). The only thing is that if the sock is already very old and flimsy, the clip might open up a small hole when pushing it in the clip or pulling it out, but there's nothing much that can be done about that except maybe try a laundry bag for more delicate socks.

Definitely solves problem of having a pair of socks go into washing machine only to have one come out of clothes dryer.......started using these when my sons were young and right up until they left home. No more hunting the missing socks, especially if you have a lot of athletic white socks. Now 30 years later, ordered these for our two grandsons who can never seem to get both socks together. Great solution for anyone who wears socks!

I bought the Lok-A-Sock package of 40. My husband took the blue and purple ones and I took the green and pink. They work GREAT, even for my thinner socks - just pull them through a bit more and they stay through wash & dry cycles. My husband actually likes (and USES!) them as they keep his sock tops from stretching out. He buys special socks for diabetics and had to fold his socks, but they really created a mess in his sock drawer and it was hard to tell the sock color. Now he just slips them into the sock locks before tossing into the laundry basket...blue in the blue ones and black in the purple ones...Easy-Peasy! Note: I have tried those clothespin-type sock sorters, but they were a pain to open and didn't get much use. )o:

I now were the smartwool socks and found these work well to be able to fit the smartwool socks into. Smartwool socks are thicker than regular socks. With the two rings held together, you put one sock to a ring. They also have been staying in the rings, so they aren't to loose.

I hate trying to match up socks after the wash. These sock sorters solve the problem. They also work well for hanging my socks on the back of my pack for dying while I am in the mountains backpacking

How did I go so long without knowing about these. I usually wear black or blue dress socks to every work day. Out of the dryer, it is remarkable how different the individual sock pairs can be, and it was a chore to sort them. These locks solved the problem. Now, I pull a pair of socks out of the drawer held together by the lock. The lock sits on the dresser top while I wear the socks. That evening, I re-attach the socks to the lock and throw them in the hamper. The socks and lock go through the washer and drawer as a unit, and are a breeze to sort back into the sock drawer - cycle completed with no lost socks.

I LOVE Loc-A-Sok Sock Locks because I HATE losing socks. Get the holders with the thick bond between the 2 holders. Unless you're doing children's socks you want the separation for a better wash and convenience. I use different colors to differentiate between different weight socks so I can identify them at a single glance. And no, these will not melt in the dryer when used in normal circumstances.

About 1990 I received 12 sock rings as a "free gift." They were of a lighter plastic, had three splines, and the connector of the rings looked like a nose piece on a pair of glasses. I have used them daily for over 20 years for mostly athletic socks. I now only have eight (even sock rings get lost). Some are missing the retention splines. I have looked for several years for replacement sock rings then found these on Amazon and bought them. I have been using these daily for about a year. To date, they show no signs of wear. These will probably out live me! A great product that does the job, well made, but in ugly colors. I highly recommend them.
