Fast, easy, fun to use!

I like to grow herbs and use them in salads, soups, and many other recipes. I received these Jenaluca Herb Scissors as a birthday gift, and can't believe how fast and easy it is to cut up cilantro, basil, parsley, lovage, etc. My husband tried them today too for the first time while making guacamole, and found that slicing the cilantro went very quickly. The storage case-cleaner is very efficiently designed too. I ordered 4 of these sets to give as gifts.

Great scissors for quickly chopping herbs!

I do believe I will love these scissors. So far, I have only used them on green onions. The scissors made it a quick and easy job. I'm looking forward to trying them on delicate herbs which are a tedious job to chop. The scissors are well made, are comfortable to use, and I especially like that they have a cover, which also serves as a cleaner.

For a long time I have been wondering why someone hadn't come up with an easier way to cut fresh leafy herbs than using a chopping knife or regular scissors. Then I discovered Jenaluca Herb Scissors! What a treat. They are very well made and function effectively as advertised, making this part of the cooking process much more enjoyable. I immediately bought a pair for the daughter in law and recommend them to anyone who likes to use fresh herbs in food preparation.

Answer to my prayers!!!

I finally decided to treat myself and buy these herb scissors. I grow my own basil and parsley and these scissors are a game changer! I use to tear the leaves off and roll them up and try to cut them with my kitchen shears, but it was never small enough. I would then try to snip the pieces smaller with the scissor. Very odd shaped pieces resulted in my hacking away. Good enough for cooking, but I wanted something better for garnishing and using fresh herbs in uncooked recipes, dips, etc, where you see the pieces. Theses shears are awesome, I love them for herbs abut also when I make a chopped salad, great for lettuce, either chopped or strips for tacos and so on. Great gadget!!

No matter the cost only Jenaluca products for me!

In all honesty, I only purchased the Jenaluca Herb Scissors because I love their scoops. I usually cut my herbs with a knife, but I am so glad that I purchased these scissors. They are great and easy to clean. I actually used them for the first time during a community event and I was totally impressed. One of my friends mentioned how easy it was to cut the parsley, and I was warned that I should keep an eye on my scissors...lol These scissors are worth the price, and I will continue ordering Jenaluca products. I need to mention that this company has great customer service. A few days after receiving my order, I received a beautiful thank you card. Additionally, I received emails and an actual telephone call from the company. Great time saver for the lazy gardener/cook

I'm very excited to have discovered the Jenaluca herb scissors. I'm an avid grower of herbs and vegetables, but when it comes to using the resulting harvests in the kitchen, I'm admittedly lazy and my knife skills are weak at best. The tedium of prep-work/chopping sometimes sends me to the spice cabinet to find something dried and ready to use. With the addition of these scissors to my kitchen gadget arsenal, I believe these lazy habits will change. The scissors appear to be of great quality and solid construction and made VERY quick work of my first 'test herbs' - oregano, chives and rosemary. Best of all, clean-up was super quick and easy. I'm already pondering all of the other great uses for these scissors...AND...will likely be buying more of these as they are a perfect inexpensive gift idea for gardeners and cooks.

Received these a few days ago and the first surprise was the packaging; it's different, and obviously done by hand. I've seen the factory packaging and this alternative - along with the very nice pamphlet - gave me an very nice initial impression of the product. The product itself was also a surprise. For the price I was expecting something a bit more flimsy and dull. However, this device feels very stable and durable, and the edge on the blades is fantastic! I've already tested this product and it works wonderfully. Worked on fresh basil, cilantro, and chives. I expect this product will last a lot of use before it gets dull. Really happy with this product - especially the price given the quality - and don't expect any issues right now. Last thing, the company sent me a direct thank you email. That rarely ever happens and speaks volumes to the customer service.

Clever design and great tool for the kitchen.

This is a must have for every kitchen. I like to put fresh herbs into most of my food. What an ingenious gadget to make it easier. Just clip and there you have it. I use a lot of green onions for various dishes. This was my prime purpose for ordering this item. It does not disappoint. It even handled several stalks at a time, though I would recommend using less to maximize the cutting power of the blades. I found that I could cut up the green stalks with ease. However, when it came to the larger bulbs, I cut those one at a time. I especially like the dual purpose of the guard used to put over the blades when storing. The top of this guard also helps to clear the blades after cutting the herbs or whatever. Brilliant design!!

I've been looking forward to the arrival of these herb scissors ! My garden is overflowing !! It's been a great growing season here in NEPA !! I grow many different herbs and it can be tedious cutting and preparing them for cooking, drying and preserving . I used them right off and love them !! Just be very careful they are very SHARP !! This is a good thing !! They were easy to use and I love the little sleeve that comes with them, not just for storage but to get every little bit of whever your preparing out from in between the blades . Do not use your finger, I was not thinking and got a few paper like cuts on my thumb and I wasn't even pressing hard, just brushing the little bits off ! These are great for snipping right over your pan as your cooking, no cutting board !! I intend to purchase another to give to my new future daughter in law . The Company seems very supportive and these come with a life time guarantee, with normal use . I'm going to look into some of their other products.
