Works Great already using it and expect to for quite a while.

So far I love this sketch tote board. The Rubber band is pretty loose so i'm not really sure how much I will even use that item on the board. I tape my works down with painters tape. I know i took off the the one that came on my other one I have. In general I love the product its a great size very portable. I have another one that is much larger than this one. I do smaller works like 5x7 or 8x10 so I don't need a huge artist board to work on. I could actually get away with an even smaller one than this. But this one is working out quite well. And I do occasionally work on things that are 11x17 so this will obviously work well for that.

Super awesome

I love this drawing board. I'm no professional artist that uses delicate pencils or shading tools, but I do draw my animations on regular printer paper before tracing them on my tablet, and this is amazing for that. I think it's INCREDIBLY sturdy yet light, not too big or too small, can clip things horizontally or vertically with 11 by 9" paper and is able to hold my rulers and other supplies with ease :) The rubber band isn't phenomenal but for what I'm doing it's just fine. I'll likely tape down my drawings if I need them stuck in place.

Another daily tool that I don't know how I did without it. Amazingly inexpensive for this sturdy yet slim and light artist clip board. No more problems for me to sit in my recliner and do my art work whether it be zentangle drawings or adult coloring books. It's the perfect size and weight. The rubber band is a helpful addition but can also be removed if needed. I was using a regular work type clipboard that was so uncomfortable to use while sitting on the couch on in my recliner. I had no idea how much better the larger size would be and I hesitated thinking it would be even more uncomfortable so I'm so pleased that it meets my expectations and then some.

This is your solid basic "baby" board that has all it needs to be a workhorse.

The size is right the drawing area is well calculated the rubber band is a must and it has it the clip is good and strong and easy to use the board is very sturdy as it should be the handle is placed in a good place with plenty of room left for the artwork. Good handy board for those times when you are using smaller paper and you don't want to lag or use the standard size board. Great companion board to your main standard size one.

Actually bigger than expected.

The actual dimension of this board are 18 x14.5. If you consider the space taken by the handle and the clip, you can fit a sheet of up to 16x11 size. I am overall quite satisfied with this item, perfect for drawing on my usual 11x14 sheets. The only thing I don’t like too much is that the clip is a bit misaligned. But it’s a good clip, I like that it sits flush with the board so id doesn’t bend the paper like other clips do. Would buy again.

I really like this board! Very easy to tote around, but big enough that I can use it as a lap desk to keep my supplies on.

Why did I wait so long to get this

I've been wanting one of these for a long time. I finally treated myself and got it during the horrid Covid summer. Love to draw outside and this board holds my paper so its not constantly being blown around. It is sturdy and I love the handle so i can just pick it up and go. Treat yourself....it's worth it

Does the job.

Used for 11x17 baseball batting order sheets in the dugout. Worked great. Excellent price compared to other clipboards of the same size. Would recommend.

Very handy for coloring.

I have several sizes of these handy boards with clips and giant rubber bands. I use them to keep the pages open in coloring books and other art I am working on. The price is good and they haven't let me down. I like the built-in handle and the range of sizes.

Portable Sketch Board

This is a good starting sketch board for someone starting out. The size will hold a variety of sketch paper and the quality seems durable. The board itself is smooth and the clip holds the paper securely. This is not a cushioned lap board. This is a board specifically for the use of the artist out in the field or away from his desk. It fulfills that function for me, although I must admit that I am just starting out. The purchase price is reasonable for a piece of equipment that can make your learning a little easier. Highly recommended.
