Works well for newborn, with a small hack
I'm taking my 2 week old around the neighborhood in this carrier and she fits well into it, with a small hack. Unlike some other carriers, you do not need an infant insert with this infatino. The straps tighten enough to offer good support for a newborn at the back and neck. One problem is that it kind of cuts out my baby's blood circulation in the legs. You can watch the little feet turn purple in a few minutes... BUT, we found a hack - roll up a towel or small blanket and put it at the bottom of the carrier as a booster seat. That way the legs can bend down naturally instead of forced into a split. As the baby get bigger and her blood circulation improves, you can remove the booster. Overall great carrier at great price, easy to put on and my baby always falls asleep in it. By the time she’s 5 months and weighs about 15lbs, we switched to ergo as she can fit in it without an insert and it’s more comfortable for the adult.

Worth it
I have worn this thing for about 6 months straight. It's comfortable for both me and the now toddler. He thinks the back position is like a horsey- back- ride. The front facing in is great for naps. Facing out is fun for him to "help" with pushing carts or sweeping. This plus a maternity jacket keeps us snuggly on cold days. It's a little awkward to wear all the time, but because it makes it so easy to handle a kid who needs "uppy" without stopping everything you're doing, it's worth the awkwardness. I have worn it with a purse and with a utility belt just fine. It definitely looks like it's been used a lot (because it has), so it's just got minor damage, nothing structural.

Awesome Carrier!
My baby instantly falls asleep once he is in this carrier! He is 6 weeks old and a little over 10 lbs and fits perfectly in the narrow seating position! I am 5'2" with a short torso, and it is very comfortable. My husband is 6'1" with a very long torso, and it fits him comfortably, too. It really doesn't feel like he's 10lbs when in this carrier! We love it and highly recommend it!

Best $30 I've spent on baby gear.
There is a seemingly infinite amount of choices for these carriers, most with pricetags that seem to be way more than what a glorified backpack should be priced at. I was ready to plunk down some cash for a more comfortable, safe and functional carrier now that the boy has the neck strength to make it worthwhile. I found this that was well reviewed and for the price I decided to give it a shot. At first it was a little overwhelming with the instructions and straps all over the place, but it quickly becomes intuitive. It adjusts well and is actually comfortable for me, my wife and seemingly for the little one. He can go in front or back facing with no adjustments needed and I like the adjustability of the seat width. Works great on hikes, works great in the kitchen. Definitely recommending this to my expecting friends.

Happy baby
We’ve tried 4 baby carriers. Lillebaby all seasons 6 position carrier: seat too wide for baby to sit comfortably (practically doing the splits) and it was very expensive ($140) Baby K’tan: worked okay when our baby was a newborn but there’s zero adjustability so my husband couldn’t use it at all, it was outgrown too quickly ($50) Infantino sash wrap and tie: by far the easiest for both parents to put on, inexpensive, easily adjustable, but can’t carry baby facing out on the front, and most of the weight is placed on lower back. I never wore this for longer than 30min but definitely a winner for babies who aren’t ready to face out. ($35) Infantino Flip 4-in-1 Convertible Carrier: Now that our baby is 9 months old, this is our go to carrier. She loves looking at the world as we go for long walks. Carries the weight evenly on shoulders and back, easy to adjust, but be careful of the extra space you take up, I did bonk her head going sideways through a door. ($30)

Useless and waste of money
Bought a very expensive ergo carrier with an organic insert for nothing! Useless and waste of money! My friend bought the same and think the same about it and told me about this infinito, it's 8x cheaper, very easy to buckle by yourself, comfy for me and baby! I wish I bought this instead of that ergo garbage and can't even return it!!!!

Great carrier!
I love this carrier! I used an expensive one ($200+) for our son and still had it, but it wasn't suitable for a younger baby (newborn). I bought this bc it was cheap and will admit I was hesitant. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to use! Easy to go from forward facing to facing you, on your back or front. Straps are easily adjusted (my husband even figured it out and USES IT!) I have even washed and dried it several times in a regular wash cycle and regular dryer settings with other clothes and its still as good as new. If you want a backup carrier, get this! Its cheap money wise, but well worth it and holds up. So happy I purchased this! It has gone through nearly 9 months of being tossed around, vacations, teethed on, ripped at by a 3yo, stepped on, soaked at tge beach, etc and still being used bc its still perfect! Our daughter is a peanut, really tiny, so I hope to get a few more months out of it :)

Great Product, Would Highly Recommend
I bought this for my 10 month old son (currently 25 pounds at 12 months) when we went to Washington D.C. and would highly recommend for anyone traveling with a little one. He would get tired of the stroller and would want to be held, there were also times where I wanted him up close with me and not in the stroller. He was very happy and comfortable in this. I have only used the frontal position, facing me so far, I have yet to try any of the other 3 - but its a great product and he loves it. Its also very comfortable with the wide straps and the strap that goes across the lumbar. My husband who is 6'3" 250 pounds and I who am 5'3" 140 pounds, can both wear this - so it also has a wide range as far as who can use.

Love it!!!! Safely holds newborn.
I was worried about the quality of this infant carrier because of how cheap it is, but I'm very impressed!! It's super comfortable & it holds my 2 week old newborn without feeling like he is going to slip or fall out. It feels very safe & secure and he loves to be up against me! 100% would reccomend!
