Seems comfortable on my 2-yr old Maine Coone. He gets right into it with no trouble since the buckle is on his back and not his belly. The clasp is sturdy, and with the Velcro flap, I feel confident that he will not slip out. Well designed so his long hair does not get caught in the Velcro or buckle. What do you think of my little boy?

I purchased this and the "plush fleece" one. I thought the fleece would be more comfortable and was concerned about it being too hot, but wanted to check both. I kept this one as it is lighter and the material is nice and soft. The fleece one (to me) seems it would be too warm. Now if you are taking your cat out for walks in cold weather it might be great. I only take him out in nice weather. I have two other harnesses and so far this is working best. I have the original kitty holster and a generic Adjustable Figure H Cat Harness. I do like the kitty holster but he escaped easily and because the velcro is on the bottom, if it is not attached just perfect or it gets moved in his travels, the velcro attaches to carpet or bedding. Seriously, the poor guy would be stuck to things and wouldn't move. I tried 2 sizes of it as well and neither seemed to fit as well as this. The small was too small. Almost seemed to choke him and the medium too big. The H harness is okay. I have never quite fitted it properly. Not sure if I trust he could escape. This vest fit perfect. We have been walking with it already and no escapes (Yet and hope never). He is quite content and been all over the house with it on too. His measurements would be a medium but due to other reviews for cats, I went with the small. He is just shy 11 pounds. Hope this helps other cat traveler/ walkers.

I've shopped so many different breed specific websites trying to find the perfect comfort-harnesses for my mid-sized dachshunds. They are bigger than miniatures but smaller than standards. The thing about dachshunds is their chest is larger than the typical small breed, and it is so important to protect their backs from injury. This harness looks EXACTLY like the ones sold on dachshund specific websites, but for nearly 1/3 the price. I get lots of compliments for how cute they look and the fit is perfect. Not a single rash or chaffing on either of my pups, even after miles long hikes. My little girl pup has sensitive skin with some dilute alopecia in her armpits (hairless patches), and she has never shown any signs of irritation from this harness. It fits loosely enough to wear over a sweater in the winter while still being breathable in the summer, but still snug and secure - no wiggle room to escape. My blue & tan girl's measurements are: Neck: 13" Chest: 17.5 Length 15.5" She's a lean 12lbs My blue and cream piebald dapple boy's measurements are: Neck: 14" Chest: 18" Length: 15.5" He's a stocky 14lbs. Both wear Medium.

Fast delivery. Exactly as described. I like these vest better than the old "as seen on tv" ones because these are much better made and have padding. This style fits my dachshunds snugly with no pinching. One measured just under 19in around and the other just over. I got two Mediums which fit perfect for both. They wore them all afternoon and even took a nap with them on. As for putting them on, My dogs are super excited when they see their harness. I put my hands through the armholes and my dogs sit up. I make sure their little legs go in the holes and as I wrap the vest round them, I lower them to the floor. Then close the velcro and snap the buckle. It takes all of maybe 10 seconds to get them dressed.

My cat is 11 pounds,,xs size is perfect ! Nice material, very comfortable,my cat love it!

Just received this and put it on my 21lbs Jack Russell terrier. Normally I would order a medium cause he's a medium size dog but I went by the chart. Glad I did cause he measured as a Large. It's easy to put on and is light. Fits like a glove. Pickles is giving me his 'awkward' look since its new! LOL. Definitely take measurements and go by chart. Would highly recommend.

My cat Beasty loves this vest. He likes to go for long walks in it and thinks it is quite comfortable. He loves the bright orange trim and the little reflective tabs too! It buckles nice and snug and makes him feel safe while walking on his leash. It is easy for him to get in and out of with help from his people. Beasty give this vest a 5 claws up!

This is a fantastic harness that I recommend to anyone looking to get a harness for their cat. Sammy, my cat, is 13 lbs and long-haired, so I got the small. It is a little bit loose on him, but he is old and doesn't try to wiggle out of things - if you have a wiggler, you might consider a tighter fit. The velcro closure does allow you to adjust the tightness a bit. When I would try harnesses on him on the past they must have been uncomfortable because he would "forget how to walk" and just lay down in protest. Sammy gets a little unhappy when I put this harness on him but he seems much more comfortable and I've taken him on walks through the neighborhood. Since the harness is one solid piece, there are no confusing straps to fight with and it is very, very easy to put on. No more "which part does his arm go through? Is it this one? No, maybe this one... wait don't run away, kitty!" With a velcro, clasp, and the D-rings all on top of each other holding the harness shut, there's no way for it to come open. P.S. if your cat is very upset by cat carriers, consider taking them to the vet with a harness and leash. Vet and groomer visits have become much less stressful affairs since I ditched the carrier for a harness!

I got this for a petite cat whose wily ways drove me to try walking her. She LOVES it, but pulled out of the first two (skimpy) harnesses. This one is better and more secure - especially when you pull the Velcro tight before snapping into place. The 2 leash hooks make it even more secure. She could probably still wiggle out with serious effort, but it's the best I've tried yet. Plus she looks like a bada$$ mofo, which counters my own crazy cat lady walking her cat vibe just enough to be passable.
