Sons are enjoying these cards. Helping to learn shapes but really enjoy the creativity to create their own shapes without the cards. The cards are great guidelines.

These cards are quite large and when paired with the right bucket of shapes he shapes fit perfectly on the card. The cards are clean, but a thin cardboard so the bend easy at the corners. They arrive in a zip bag and I keep them in that so they stay clean. If the company made a second pack with different shapes I would buy those, too. I would definitely recommend these.

I purchased the Learning Resources Wooden Pattern Blocks set of 250, and also purchased the Learning Resources Pattern Cards, but after receiving those cards I realized that my 4 and 3 year old grandsons would need pattern cards that were more suited to their age. I had to take a chance that these cards would be the right size for the Learning Resources Wooden Pattern blocks set, and luckily the blocks match the size of these cards perfectly. The cards are just as sturdy and beautiful as Learning Resources' own pattern cards but are much more appropriate for younger children.

I love using these with my patients in the nursing home. Beautiful pictures on thick paper.

I bought these pattern block activity cards for my son for our homeschooling room. They are a thicker card stock with a glossy front. Not laminated but pretty sturdy. Their size seems to be larger then a reg size piece of copy paper. The blocks fit right on top of the pattern which I love. They are very fun to use and I am pretty satisfied with them. I would buy these again if I needed to replace them.

Great cards! I ordered them to go with Learning Resources Wooden Pattern Blocks (Set of 250). The cards sold by Learning Resources look more complex and somewhat less interesting (they seem to consistent of only geometric patterns) for younger kids. After reading another review that said that these cards worked with Learning Resources blocks I ordered them. These cards have great designs of object/animals that kids recognize. The cards are numbered from less to more complex, so it serves as a good guide. Kids can practice on the simpler one and progress to more complex ones. The only con is that the cards are not laminated. Of course, I can get them laminated too, but it would have been nicer if they came laminated. They're good quality, but lamination will add the extra protection. My daughter is 2.5 years old and although she was able to do the simper designed reasonably well, she doesn't have the precision to do many of the complex designs (that involve putting many smaller blocks next to each other) without shoving the blocks a little accidentally. So on more complex designs she struggled keeping all the blocks together. But that just means she will be able to enjoy these for a long time as her fine motor skills become more sophisticated.

Larger and sturdier than I expected. It's not often anymore one is pleasantly surprised with online purchases anymore. These are great quality and go wonderfully with our shapes.

Nice pattern cards that go with the Learning Resources Wooden Pattern Blocks! Children can not only make their own patterns, but with the cards, the blocks become like a puzzle. Great for improving spacial reasoning in mathematics. I used these cards and blocks in my own classroom for years.

I purchased these for my 2.5 year old son and we love them! The variety of pictures and difficulty are great and they are printed on thick card stock like paper. I wish they would have come in some sort of case or there was some way to keep them all together as they are just a bunch of card stock photos. I found a zipper heavy duty clear bag to store them so that they would stay together and not get lost all over the play room. The colors are bright and match our pattern blocks minus one piece that is white but colored brown on the cards. This is understandable as the cards themselves are white. Good product and exactly what I was looking for in pattern block cards.

I have read the comments of other parents for cards such as these and they say that the card stunt the view and imagination of the child in question. I feel the opposite. My kids use these cards to start creating. They make the picture and then they morf that creation into other things and even more than one card. These cards are made of a sturdy heavy paper and won't just rip with a little tug. I'm not saying they are made of plastic, just strong paper. they are the size of a standard piece of paper 8x11. The colors are as bright in person as the pictures on the site. My kids loved these cards for as long as their attention spans were held.
