Great addition to the medicine cabinet
As a type 1 diabetic I am constantly removing adhesive residue from my skin when I swap out the parts of my insulin pump and glucose monitor that are stuck to my body. That's why I bought this, but I find that I also use it quite a bit to get the gunk off after I pull off a Band-Aid or whatever. I think it would be worthwhile to have this around even if you only use it very occasionally for that sort of thing--it's very effective. I use it infrequently enough that a box lasts for multiple years, but I've never had a problem with the pads drying out in their individual foil packets.

Type one diabetics best friend for cgm and pump changes
If we don’t have unisolve to change my type one diabetic’s Dexcom sensor then FORGET IT. She will run away and refuse to let me change it out. That’s because peeling off the old bandage that holds the cgm in place is very very painful without the unisolve. I don’t know what we wold do without unisolve. Rub it on the cgm adhesive bandage, wait five minutes and it peels off effortlessly without any pain. Same for her pump infusion site. Makes changing out the pump and cgm A LOT less traumatic. Warning: her old doctor suggested that unisolve was bad for her skin and that I use baby oil. What a joke. Baby Oil does not loosen the bond between skin and adhesive no matter how long you wait or how much you apply. My daughter has never had a reaction to unisolve. It smells pretty bad, like kerosine or something but it’s a lifesaver and you only need very little. One box lasted us almost two years

The benefits far outweigh the smell!
I use insulin pump infusion sets and I have to change them every 3 days to prevent infection. Lets say that's a "recommendation" and sometimes this extends to 4 or 5 days... I am a busy man, what can I say. Anyhow, during this time, the adhesive on the sets sometimes gets very sticky and messy, and attracts dirt like a jar of honey to a hungry bear. It is like a dust and dirt magnet, forming a disgusting ring of black mess around the outside when you peel the set off... not to mention that the peeling the set off part is a painful mess of an encounter (I am a part middle-eastern man, with middle-eastern hair on my middle-eastern stomach, which can sometimes make the removal process a painful experience. Yes, I know, probably not as bad as a Brazilian, but come on... this is happening every few days here!) When I read about these wipes I was intrigued, because for all the time I have been using an insulin pump I was just told to use baby oil to remove the adhesive... which works to an extent, but can also be a messy experience (especially on hair.) Enter these wipes. A quick swab around the outside of the infusion set is enough to unseat it from its death grip on your skin, and makes it easy to peel a side of it off... then continuing to wipe as you peel it unlocks it from your skin without any pain whatsoever. Any hairs in the way stay rooted and the entire thing just comes off without any mess. Then a quick swab around the circumference of where the set was removes any built up gunk and/or dust and dirt that was shellacked to your skin only moments ago. It is extremely gentle and does not burn or sting, and I was able to wipe over top of the open hole where the cannula was without any pain or discomfort. These things are awesome. They smell strange, but its not nearly as bad as everyone is making it out to be. It's a sort of sweet chemically smell, almost akin to antifreeze. Not that bad when you consider how magical these things really are... I am noticing much less irritation around previous infusion set locations and am noticing much less pain when inserting new infusion sets over areas where the adhesive had to be scrubbed off in the shower previously. If you are hesitant about buying these for any reason, do yourself a favor and try a box. It will change your perspective on removing infusion sets. Looking back after trying these things, I have been to the hospital a couple times needing IV fluids and I cannot believe they don't use these at hospitals. They are so inexpensive and it would make removing IV dressings so much less painful! I might even keep some in my wallet just in case I get into an accident or something.

Effective and easy to use.
We purchase this to help remove a CGM adhesive when it came time to change. This thing works real good. We start by applying it on top of the tape/bandage part and it quickly penetrates and dissolves the adhesive underneath it like no other. The single packs makes it easy to use and is just enough for the job.

Works great for removing adhesives for puppy ear settin
Wow, this stuff works incredibly well on removing glue or tape residue from puppy ear setting methods. For many breeds of dogs, the "set" of the ears are described in the breed standard. As puppies grow, and begin to teethe, their bodies grab calcium from their cartilage to help build healthy adult teeth - consequently, ears change and need a bit of help to maintain the preferred "set." Glues, tape, splints, weights, and lots of other things are used sort of like splints or casts, to help the ears take on their adult appearance. All these methods are temporary, yet tend to leave adhesive residue on a pup's very sensitive ears. These wipes were developed for us less hairy humans, who are equally uncomfortable when tape or glue residue remains on our skin. Each individually wrapped wipe is saturated with the gentle solvent; glue comes out of the fur, and tape comes off ears without irritation, or even pulling hair. An unexpected bonus - the pup's ears, when the solvent dries, are clean and non-greasy...no bath is needed. Highly recommended!

Great for Removing Ostomy Pouches and Flanges from Skin, or Any Adhesive from the Skin
These are a must-have for new ostomy patients having trouble with leaks and frequent bag changes. Save your skin and have plenty of Uni-Solve on hand to remove the hydrocolloid adhesive from your skin, especially if you are finding yourself having to change out bags or flanges every day or couple of days due to leaks or other challenges. Just be sure to wash off all of the residue from your skin before applying the fresh bag/flange, or you may have trouble adhering. These wipes also do a great job removing hospital tape and heart monitor adhesive, etc. Any adhesive residue on the skin is easily removed using Uni-Solve. It's like an eraser for glue.

Awesome for removing transdermal patches.
Not much to say beyond the obvious. They remove adhesive. I have a medication that I have to take via transdermal patches and those things stick to me like limpets. Using these towelettes makes it easy to get the old patch off. I tried other adhesive removers and they usually irritated my skin. This stuff is gentle as far as I can tell and it's very handy to have pre-moistened towelettes that are self-contained and easy to transport (especially when flying.)

Works great for insulin pump and CGM components.
As other reviewers mentioned - this works great for removing any adhesive that you may encounter while using an insulin pump or continuous glucose monitors. I've used it to remove adhesive from both my skin and the transmitter/battery piece that I use on my CGM sensors. It works great for both. The odor is pretty similar to rubbing alcohol although it is distinctly different. It doesn't bother me at all and just smells like another "hospital" smell like a lot of the other stuff I use to manage my diabetes. Overall a great product which I would recommend. Blessings!

Excellent product/ excelente producto
A very good product. Previously, I used another brand and my boy always complained of pain and trouble, with these that doesn't happen. The first time we used them the same thing he said to me, Mom, these are better than the others, it doesn't hurt. They come pretty wet and pass it over the adhesive fast, I'll take it off.
