Great centerpoint

Bought this to hammer internal chamfers into small pipe parts.... worked fine for this. (I know it's not the usual usage for this, but it is none the worse for wear in this alternative application.)

Good reasonably priced live center for my wood lathe,

it works as good as it looks

taper fit was spot on and it works like a champ. Nice looking piece to boot.

This enabled me to begin turning between centers for my pen making. Not much you can say about a hunk of precision ground steel other than it is accurately made and does it's job nicely.

Once upon a time, when I was a kid, you could get this quality at a reasonable price on products made in America. Oh, well. This is a very good product at a very fair price and should satisfy amateur wood turners and machinists who don't get to "write off" the expensive stuff. Very satisfied.
