Had them on our mini donkey all summer. I wash and line dry. Put them back on. They stay up and no rub marks on her tiny legs. So far loving these boots.

Must have for miniature donkey!!

These work great for our two miniature donkeys. We are using them for the second year now, and they look like new still. They do not slip down, fall off, or anything else like that. The size is perfect for an average sized miniature donkey, or miniature horse. They will last you a long time with a little care on your part. I remove them and hand wash them periodically when it rains and they get muddy, and to give the girls lower legs and hooves a chance to dry out. I put them in our utility sink (a big bucket would work) with some laundry detergent, swish then around, then let them soak. Drain the water, rinse, then lay flat to dry. That's it. They clean up perfectly.

These are must-haves

I have purchased several pairs of these for my miniature donkey and couldn't do without them. They work. They keep the flies off his legs. No, they don't fit perfectly. But they're good, they work, and I depend on them to do their job. I wash them off. Sometimes stuff gets stuck to them, but not too bad. I leave them on for several days, then I switch to a new pair and wash the dirty ones. I don't worry about them cutting off circulation or anything like that. They're just part of my mini's wardrobe! I've tried other things but always come back to these. They're the easiest.

Finally found a product that will protect mini donkeys legs.

I love the loop closures, they stay up fairly well too. Better than other (5)brands I have purchased. So far Kensington brand has been the most durable and stayed up the best. Wish they were a little longer, but overall a great product!

Great for miniature donkeys!

I purchased these for my miniature donkey who is a fly magnet. She is very sensitive to fly sprays and creams and socks fell down within a few hours, so these seemed to be the next best option. After a few weeks of use I can report that they have been fantastic! The mesh allows air to reach the wounds from fly bites and help heal them. She seems very comfortable and her legs are starting to look much better.
